So I just left this place called safari african restaurant September 16 2023 time 10:30pm I bought egusi soup worth $20 but the meat they served me was like stone I couldn’t eat it cos it’s too hard I decided to go back to let them know cos I ate this in my car. I explained that the meat is too hard to see if they can just give me a more better meat but the girl not lady I called her girl because she have no sense of reasoning immediately she told me she can’t do anything about it so I left the food with them . He had excellent customer service... food excellent... then I showed up today with an assumption that service will the same. I needed take away, the middle aged girl who served had horrible attitude,.. not sure if she judge my truck driver outfit or she is naturally unfriendly... first of I requested for menu, she she looked straight into my eyes and replied we don’t have, and what do you want? Read moreOrdered the egusi soup with goat meat. I just moved to Houston and this restaurant had good reviews so I drove 35 minutes from where I live to get the food. When I got home, the goat meat was sooooo tough that it wasn't edible. I tried cooking it longer but after 30 minutes it was still too hard to chew. It was like she just killed the poor goat 10 minutes before I got there. The pounded yam would not have been enough for the soup so maybe she ran out of pounded yam, I'm not sure. Wasted my time and money yesterday. And then had to stink up my house trying to cook something that ended up in the garbage.
