I’ve been here a few times and always have a great experience. The bartenders and servers are fantastic and make it a fun spot.
Unfortunately, my recent visit was a bit disappointing. My company was hosting a conference last week, and I wanted to bring a group of 24 out-of-towners here. I called the same day to make a reservation and reached the event coordinator’s voicemail. When I called back, I spoke with the hostess and tried to explain our situation, but she kept saying they were fully booked before I could finish. I mentioned we didn’t mind being split up or having only part of the group play while the rest stayed at the bar, but she didn’t seem open to helping find a solution.
I somehow was able to book a dart station online for 12 people and called back to give her a heads-up that 12 would be playing while the rest would be lounging at the bar but she repeatedly reminded me that anyone not on the reservation couldn’t play or even stand in the area. I let her know I completely understood the policy, but her tone made it feel like we weren’t welcome. (In the end, only 10 of us actually played.)
When we arrived, she was still pretty hostile, but once we got settled, everyone had a great time. The bartenders and servers were amazing, as always. I’d still recommend this place, I just hope for a friendlier experience at the...
Read moreWell, the manager at the Flight Club was so incredibly rude & disrespectful to my party. My service dog got slightly excited at our cheering after our game & barked in that very empty darts place. I stopped the barking immediately, but the manager still ran over anyway & complained about my small 18 pound dog. I am a 100% disabled retired Navy Chief with Multiple Sclerosis. My service dog is always on my lap or by my side. My boy was laying with his head down next to me on a bench while the five of us played darts. We hadn't ordered any food yet, but were going to as we were there for lunch too. He told me with the meanest scowl that I had to put my dog on the floor after scolding me about the barking. He was so incredibly rude & disrespectful to my situation. The manager didn't care that my dog had a service dog tag, that I was disabled & that he needed to be at my side. I took my boy & walked out leaving my family in from out of town to finish the game without me. Flight Club is most strongly NOT RECOMMENDED until they replace that God-awful manager. We all would not order any food after he came over. My family & I will never step foot in that establishment ever again! With so many good & qualified folks out of work in Houston, how do they hire someone like that? It's nothing short...
Read moreI was dragged to this place by my wife for a company happy hour. I like darts, but I just wasn't in the mood. After walking into this place, I was intrigued. It is well designed.
We arrived early, so we went to the bar for a drink while they prepared out private bay. The bar transferred our tab to our booth. Most places make you close out at the bar before moving away, so this was convenient.
The food was good, but not as filing as I'd like. I had to eat almost 2 flatbread pizza's by myself just to begin to feel full.
The service was absolutely excellent. Our booth waitress was on it...food, drinks, were never empty and there was never a wait to get served. Nice job here.
Now, when I'm drinking, the last thing I want to do is worry about keeping score. This system tracked all 5 players in our group and never once missed a throw/score in the 1.5 hours we were there for. The darts have chips in them.
Will definitely return to this place. My only complaint was that we wanted to extend our booth time, but they were unable to accommodate...not their fault, they are busy.
As for being busy, the booths are set up well that your group is not right next to or on top of each other. Spacing was great.
Can't wait...
