If you're searching for an upscale Chinese American dining experience that seamlessly blends tradition with elegance, look no further than Café Ginger. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with an atmosphere of refined sophistication — rich wood accents, ambient lighting, and a level of service that is attentive without being overbearing.
The crown jewel of the menu is, without question, the Peking Duck. Expertly prepared with crispy, lacquered skin and tender, flavorful meat, it’s presented with all the classic accompaniments: paper-thin pancakes, fresh scallions, cucumber, and hoisin sauce that elevates every bite. It’s not just a dish — it’s a ceremony, and one that Café Ginger executes flawlessly.
Equally impressive are the prawns, which speak to the restaurant’s commitment to quality. These are not your average shellfish — they’re plump, sweet, and impeccably fresh, served in dishes that range from umami-full salt and pepper-style preparations to delicately sautéed versions with garlic. No matter how you order them, the prawns at Café Ginger are a standout.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in an unforgettable night out, Café Ginger delivers on every front — exquisite food, stylish ambiance, and a menu that honors both Chinese culinary heritage and modern American tastes. This is fine...
Read morei really like this place. great food, lunch deals, and friendly service. easy parking. not too loud. ive been coming here more than 20+ times and most of the time it's been pleasant.
during lunch hours, there are a lot of servers and even tho it's busy, i can easily flag down one of them and they are all attentive. so i have no issues and the experience always had been positive. they check on me and make sure everything is good and all that.
sadly im evening time, it's not the same. i've came a few times for dinner and the male host is kinda rude. and with them being short staffed, the service is slow. and they get my order wrong at times. it's quite frustrating.
i come alone all the time and i might be younger than all the crowd they have, i feel like the respect should be there. at the end of the day im also a paying customer here so they should treat me the same way they do with older people here.
food ive gotten here so far: general tso wonton soup egg roll shrimp spring roll sweet potato tempura sorbet california roll caterpillar roll salmon sashimi yellowtail sashimi tuna
all of them are...
Read moreWe have frequent Cafe Ginger for many years, the food and the waiters have always been great. Sadly Saturday January 20 we visited the restaurant for our weekend dine out. The food was good and the service was good as well but torwards the end of our meal we discover a cockroach walking out of one of the plates of food we had at our table. We quickly moved away from the table and notify our waiter, she swiftly moved on the roach and smashed it spilling all of its guts all over our table and her napkin. To our surprise our waiting mention that they had recently had a pest control come in and maybe they just missed this entire section. Probably not what we wanted to hear after finishing our meals.
The restaurant took care of our meals and we tipped our waiter as she had nothing to do with the unwanted visitor. We will not be coming back as the idea of having to deal with a pest infestation within the food we want to eat is beyond the most disgusting idea we can fathom. We hope for the sake of this restaurant they get their pest under control as this can cause a safety hazard for people...
