Gold Tooth Tony's, a dazzling gem in the world of Detroit-style pizza, offers an unforgettable dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Nestled in the heart of the city, this pizzeria has quickly earned a reputation for serving some of the most delectable and unique pizzas, along with other mouthwatering dishes.

The ambiance of Gold Tooth Tony's is a delightful blend of urban chic and comfortable homeliness, creating an environment that's both inviting and exciting. The decor, featuring eclectic elements, adds to the vibrant and lively atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for gatherings, casual dinners, or even a solo pizza adventure.

Let's talk about the star of the show - the Detroit-style pizza. Their Meat Lover's Pizza is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Baked to perfection with a crispy, caramelized cheese edge and a fluffy, yet crunchy crust, each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The toppings are generous, and the combination of meats is thoughtfully curated to offer a rich and satisfying experience. It's easy to see why this pizza is rated a perfect 10/10 by many.

Another standout dish is the meatball sub with pesto. This sub takes the classic meatball sandwich to a new level. The meatballs are juicy and well-seasoned, nestled in a fresh, soft roll and smothered in a vibrant, homemade pesto sauce that adds a fresh and zesty flavor. It's a testament to Gold Tooth Tony's commitment to flavor and quality.

The wings at Gold Tooth Tony's deserve a special mention. Described as 'massive', they live up to this billing in both size and taste. Perfectly cooked with a succulent interior and a crispy exterior, these wings are a must-try for any wing aficionado.

Service at Gold Tooth Tony's is top-notch, with staff that are not just friendly but also passionate about their offerings. They're knowledgeable about the menu, ready to offer recommendations, and quick to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

In conclusion, Gold Tooth Tony's is a true treasure for anyone seeking the best in Detroit-style pizza and more. From the outstanding Meat Lover's Pizza to the unique meatball sub with pesto, and the massive wings, every item on the menu is a hit. It's a place where quality, flavor, and great service come together to create an amazing dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit to Gold Tooth Tony's is a must for any...

I take pizza very seriously. And I have to say with all seriousness, this is the best pizza in the Houston Heights area. Perhaps some of the best in the entire city. We tried 3 different ones (Pepperoni, the Griz, and the Riz) and enjoyed all of them. They are all the same size and come in 4 slices per box so it's perfect to have a couple for lunch then a couple for dinner. Sharing? Not so much. For me, the pepperoni was the star of the show since it had a hint of spice. It was amazing and felt like a fresh take on an old classic. The Griz had kind of a BBQ-Hawaiian hybrid vibe and I'd probably recommend it for more adventurous pizza eaters. The Riz was probably the "healthiest" option, and it's always nice to have a veggie-only option at any pizzeria. Overall, it was pretty good. The Margarita is the one I'd like to try on our next trip. My only recommendation is that it would be nice to have a Caesar or other salad option to go with the pizzas. Currently, there isn't one. Another strong recommendation is to save room for dessert! We had the brownie, the Frankenstein cheesecake, and the tres leches Oreo cake. All were phenomenal. Overall, the experience was fantastic. One thing I should also mention is that the dining room is a bit small. So I wouldn't come with a large group on a busy night, but would opt for a weekday during the day or early on a weekend. But it was a really fantastic tasting experience that I can't recommend...

We saw Gold Tooth Tony’s on YouTube when Chris Shepherd did a review, and it looked amazing, so we were excited to try it. We ordered online for delivery on a Saturday night, but about 30 minutes later got a text saying it was ready for pickup instead. We live just 8 minutes away, so as we were heading out, we decided to call and double-check that it was actually ready and not still being delivered. The guy who answered seemed completely out of it—put me on hold a couple of times, asked for my name several times, then asked me to spell it. When we got there, he said there was nothing under our name. We assumed we’d made a mistake and ordered from the wrong location. Once we got home, we checked and realized we had definitely ordered from that location. We called back, and the same guy now said the food was there waiting. So we drove back up there again, only to be told part of our order wasn’t included because, according to him, “that’s all you ordered.” We got to the car, checked the attached receipt, and saw we were in fact missing the cake we paid for. We went back in, and he casually said we had to get it out of the fridge ourselves. When we finally got home, the food was cold—one pizza barely had any cheese, the other was all sauce with hardly any toppings, and the wings were soggy. After all that, we paid almost $80 for a cold, disappointing meal and spent our entire night driving back and forth. Total...

Gold Tooth Tony’s is a Detroit Style Pizza joint in pretty strategic parts of the greater Houston area. This location is nestled in the heart of the trendy Heights District. The location is very well planned out with the appearance of an old auto shop or gas station from the past. The pizza is exceptional in my opinion, and I’ve tried a wide cross-section of pizza places. Detroit style pizza is thick square pizza cut in four smaller squares, and they also offer the more traditional pie pizza as well both are just as good. I had the Alfredo pizza add pepperoni with a cup of garlic butter which made all the difference if you like dips. It’s really cool to see smaller businesses like this continue to pop up in Houston, as there was a time in the not so distant past where this was rare, outside of boutique and super fancy shopping centers. The inside has somewhat limited seating with the kitchen semi-visible, the staff is friendly and jovial seeming to enjoy what they do. It’s sort of dimly lit which is a perfect setting, nobody wants fluorescence to scorch your eyeballs mid conversation. There is a pretty amazing selection of food even a sweet treats section with four or five choices to choose from. In closing, this place deserves your patronage so give it a try and see what you think for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!
