After moving back to Houston from the DFW area ( where I was apart of an amazing church ) I was scared that I wouldn't be able to find a Church that I loved AS much. I met Hannah and Bill at a Church conference and we reconnected when I moved.... I came to one of our church dinner gatherings, was welcomed with open arms (and very great sweet tea) and immediately felt apart of the family! I know that my Village Heights family always has my back and that they will be there to cheer me on in my struggles but also will be there to celebrate with me in my victories!

Read moreWhen I first started attending this church I literally googled this church and thank God for google because I fell in love with this church! Hands down the people here are not judgmental, they genuinely love/care about the church members, and their service topics really emphasize what you are going through or what you have been through in life! I love how they don’t just repeat what the Bible says but try to put it in perspective of how it relates to your your life. Also, they make volunteering fun and take on challenging/big projects which defines that no matter the size of the church anything is possible through with God...

I walked down from Garden Oaks and found another humble church.
My family growing up wasn’t Christian and when I finally got baptized I wasn’t sure the church lived up to its ideals.
Now older and still young in my faith I realize that humbleness and meekness are a great indicator of our faith.
We are sinners. No doubt about it.
Thank you Lord for these folks and the constant message that is delivered thru these pastors and Children’s leaders.
God we pray for the Heights to not only know you but set themselves apart for you Father
