HORRIBLE PLACE!!! My parents have been regulars since Palomas opened, tonight was the last visit!! Upon arrival my father (who is disabled, in a wheelchair) was asked table or booth!?! Really?!? He responds "I can't get into a booth, has to be a table." We were taken to a table against the wall in the very back, having to pass a large party disrupting their meal. I explained to the hostess, " He has to be able to pull in, he can't get into these tables." She then moves us down 2 tables....on the same wall!!! I'm not sure how that was helpful?!? My mother came in after having to park the van down the street due to limited handicap parking, and was informed of our seating issue. She went to the front and spoke with Valerie who informed her that they just dont have a table to accommodate wheelchairs. My mother came back and told my father and I what she said so I went to go ask for her name, she refused. I then asked for the manager, he came to the table and my mother and I informed him of our experience. I told him we did not feel welcome and it was a horrible experience. He said he didn't think she meant it that way, but that's how it felt. I was so upset I couldn't eat, and from what my parents said...the food was bland. This place discriminates against the disabled. I will...

We are 1st timers, The service was great they kept our drinks topped off, when asking for something (spicy chile or salt)they were on it. The server was bilingual which is plus, and very informative giving suggestions on what we'd like to order. When I ordered a small plate of guac for my toddler, before I could ask for it he suggested to take the jalapenos out for her. sweet n thoughtful :) Piping hot white cheese sauce and creamy guacamole to accompany our warm chips were an awesome starter. The food was great the Fish tacos were a hit, the fish so fresh, and that awesome sauce.. yummers! My charro beans were hot n chunky just like I like them (caseros) *homestyle lots of flavor. Ask for spicier hot sauce its piping hot and its spicy but not too.much you cant eat it a accompaniment to.my tacos. I had a Michelada it was so refreshing just the right amount of spice. Hubby plate the Fish Acapulco was good the cheese sauce was great again the fish was fresh and those grilled jumbo shrimp seasoned just right, hubby wasnt full should've gotten like a fajita plate instead overall he enjoyed it. The child Cheese enchilada was great my son ate it all up, even enjoyed one of dads...

Not impressed. When we arrived we were greeted with women who were clearly over intoxicated. Got a table quickly and the host was nice. Waiter was awful. Poor attitude the moment he spoke to us. Not sure what we did but he was nice to the regulars that sat around us. Maybe because we didn’t order alcohol? Still no excuse to be rude. Had another regular who was also over intoxicated speaking so loudly the whole area knew her business. Allowed her child to dance for the customers which was disturbing behavior. Our waiter took forever to get us anything but the busboy that was working did a fantastic job helping us get what we needed and quickly. I wish I could’ve tipped him. Food was ehh. The menu was too big it takes forever to figure out what you want. It’s clear their goal is to get you drunk and spend tons of money on their alcoholic drinks. Between the local regulars being obnoxious and lack of service, we won’t be back. ETA: I saw a couple kids with ice cream and asked our waiter if they had any. Was told no. It was clear that they wanted us gone and they succeeded in...

Avoid Ordering Online — Call It In Instead I want to warn others before they make the same mistake I did. I placed my order directly through the restaurant’s own website (not DoorDash or Uber Eats) and was shocked to find out later that it cost me over $11 more than if I had just called in or ordered in person. Each plate had an extra $2 online premium tacked on, plus a $3.99 ā€œservice feeā€ — and that’s before tax or tip. The worst part? I still had to drive there and pick up my food myself. The food itself was good, no complaints there. But the pricing system is misleading and feels like a hidden markup. If you want to support the business without getting overcharged, call your order in or dine in person — do not use their online ordering system.

We wanted to support local restaurant and tried Hacienda Palomas in Kingwood! My husband enjoyed his enchiladas; but my chicken tortilla soup had big globs of chicken all connected! To eat it, I would have to put knife in the bowl and dice the chicken. The kitchen should have done that! I ate the avocado, broth and chips which were good! I talked to water and she didn’t care. When a server came to pick up dishes and saw the almost full bowl of soup, I explained that the kitchen should have diced the chicken so it would be edible, The manager was passing by and listened for a minute and went on his way! No one agreed or apologized.

The Hacienda Polomas is the latest Tex Mex style restaurant to occupy this Kingwood location. My first impression is of the 3 or 4 incarnations, this is the best. First the dining area is open, festive and inviting. Second they have a large, covered outdoor patios area. Last, but not least, they have a large menu that includes all the traditional offerings like fajitas, enchiladas and tacos. However also they grilled fish and seafood selections that were very flavorful. I wish them longevity and success.
