Town Center Park — Attraction in Houston

This was a hidden gem since this was the first time our family went for the Halloween festivities. I loved the fact that we didnt have to waste time circling around looking for parking since there was plenty. The set-up was your typical pop-up booths selling a variety of items. Would of been better if the booths did not run out of candy so early because that defeated the whole purpose of bringing the kiddos out for an early Halloween trick or treating. One thing I did take notice was I did not see a sign for restrooms or at least a station to wash your hands. Having a toddler and as a parent these 2 things is a must have @ any outing. Enjoyable conveniently located space with free parking. Today was 3rd annual spring food truck festival event, rescheduled from last week due to inclement weather. Live music, inflatables for the children, good variety of vendors, and, of course, fun tasty food from variety of food trucks. FALACOS food truck, serving up delicious 100% vegan falafel tacos was my reason for being there, & made it well worth the drive to Kingwood. Their newest addition to their menu is Cajun fries; Cajun seasoning spices up crispy fries, topped with remoulade sauce, scallions & a couple of fried falafel balls, all vegan. Brought to mind one of my favorite Canadian comfort foods, poutine - crispy seasoned fries smoothered in gravy topped with cheese curds. Will suggest this as an option to FALACOS' fries. The Apartment management is not all that great they are rude and take awhile to get back with you and they also stated it is not a smoking community which is very understandable but they allow people smoking packs of cigarettes right in front of the apartment which is way worst and unprofessional looking vs smoking on your patio you pay for and overall the area it is in its not bad but the rules our just outrageous i lived in nicer areas with real reasonable rules it just seems like at these apartment they get on you about every little thing and it makes it hard to live here as...
