My recent visit to Hugo's restaurant left much to be desired. Despite its promising reputation and inviting ambiance, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. The restaurant's exorbitant prices coupled with lackluster flavors left a bitter taste in my mouth, figuratively and literally. It's safe to say that my party and I won't be returning anytime soon.

Let's start with the pricing. Hugo's certainly doesn't shy away from charging a premium for their dishes. While I understand that quality ingredients come at a cost, the prices here felt unjustifiably inflated. Unfortunately, the astronomical bill didn't reflect the value we received in terms of taste and overall satisfaction.

Moving on to the food itself, I found the flavors to be rather lackluster. The menu boasted an array of tantalizing descriptions, but the execution fell short. The dishes lacked the complexity and depth of flavor that one would expect for the price point. It felt as though the chef prioritized presentation over taste, leaving me underwhelmed with each bite. The flavors were forgettable, and nothing stood out as exceptional.

Moreover, the portion sizes were disappointingly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and still hungry despite the hefty bill. While I understand that fine dining establishments often offer smaller portions, the combination of small portions and underwhelming flavors only added insult to injury.

The service at Hugo's was adequate, albeit nothing to write home about. The staff seemed competent but lacked the warmth and attentiveness that can elevate a dining experience. It was as if they were merely going through the motions, without any genuine interest in making the guests feel truly welcome.

Lastly, considering the high price point and the overall underwhelming experience, I cannot help but feel that there are many other restaurants in the area that offer better value for money. With so many excellent dining options available, it's difficult to justify a return to Hugo's.

In conclusion, my visit to Hugo's left me with a sense of disappointment. The exorbitant prices failed to deliver a commensurate taste experience, leaving me feeling shortchanged. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with exceptional flavors and value for money, I would suggest exploring other options...

To sum it up it one sentence, Hugo's is a pricey meal, but you will go home very happy. That's what happened when we went for dinner on a Friday night. When we arrived, they had valet parking available. The restaurant was busy, but we had made a reservation. I'd highly recommend doing this beforehand if coming on a weekend.

When we were seated, we were given complimentary spiced peanuts. We were told the most popular margaritas were the Gran Reposado (made with Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, lime, and simple syrup) for $12 or the Hugo Rita (tequila, Triple Sec, agave, and lime) for $10.50. I went with the Gran Reposado with salt. This was a fun experience as they shake the margaritas tableside. The margarita was great, and I would order it again.

Overlooking the menu, we went with:

-Ceviche De Atun (yellowfin tuna, cucumber, onion, lime, avocado purée, olive oil, and salsa matcha) for $14 -Pulpo Al Carbon (grilled octopus, onions and peppers, chipotle tomatillo salsa, and tortillas) for $15 -Callo De Hacha (pan-seared scallops over sweet corn bread with rajas con crema) for $25 -Churros Rellenos (churros stuffed with dulce de leche, Mexican hot chocolate, and housemade chocolate ice cream) for $10

Everything we ordered was absolutely incredible. Try it for yourself. I can't even pick a favorite between the Pulpo Al Carbon or the Callo De Hacha! They are both amazing in their own ways. We ended the night with the Churros Rellenos. This was also another fun experience as they prepare the hot chocolate tableside. I'm very particular about my desserts, and I would say that I daydream a lot about those churros. The mixture of cold chocolate ice cream with the warm churros stuffed with dulce de leche is a winning combination. I would highly recommend coming to Hugo's and experiencing everything that we ordered. It'll be a pricey night, but you will remember it as one of your finest...

I made a reservation for brunch because my dad wanted to go before he couldn’t he got invited there by a friend of his and he loved the food Bo he always wanted to go for brunch his friend told him the the coffee and. Chocolate was amazing. Before we went he got sick he’s got cancer that started in the leg but went to his head in the hospital he kept going about Hugo’s and Madeline’s bread and jam, So on Sunday I went to brunch at Hugo’s food was good, I asked my server if I can take some chocolate and a croissant for my dad I explain the situation to my server she said she was going to ask the manager I didn’t want to get her in trouble so I told her if I could talk to him she came back with cup and told me that the manager said that I can buy some if I wanted to which is fine all I needed was probably 3 or 4 table spoons an 1 pice of bread. Because of the chemo he can’t have more but anyway when I got my bill the chocolate was 8 dollars and something with tax made it 10 dollars which I don’t care I would of 50 for it if it was necessary but what it gets me is the manager didn’t eve came to the table to talk to me and use my situation as a point of sale. I fed my the croissant with the chocolate and he loved it, He had like 4 tablespoons of it I threw the rest away and just in time because now he can’t eat anymore by the way I went to the Madeline and told them if I could buy 3 slices of bread a a jam they told me take as much as you want all I told them that my dad was sick and he was king for bread and jam from there I too 2 slices and 1 jam that’s all he can have but by seeing his face of satisfaction I would of pay what ever. I work in the restauran business ea en my dad worked as a manager let’s not use someone’s situation to make a sale I won’t be going there anymore it won’t make much of...
