Ice Queen — Restaurant in Houston

I saw this had 4.7 star reviews so decided to try it out. They do not have rolled ice cream here at all, and they don't tell you that the ice cream isn't rolled when you're ordering, but they advertise that they are a boba/ rolled ice cream place.... I should have read the reviews before driving past my usual rolled ice cream stop and out of my way to try this place out. Extremely disappointed that there seems to be no advertising of this, ice cream is mediocre at best, toppings are shiesty as well as just thrown on top of the scoops, and the logo is ROLLED ICE CREAM. Great marketing scam.

Better places to go: -Marble Slab mixes the toppings into the ice cream -Amy's Ice Cream downtown also mixes the toppings into the ice cream -I-CE-NY in the Baybrook Mall that actually has rolled ice cream year round -Cool Cow Creamery in Kemah makes small batch ice creams that are actually tasty

Lastly.. I hope people take the time to see how the management responds to the low star reviews. "Hopefully the next tea shop you review, you'll have inspected the entire menu.." "Hopefully you could enjoy your job and perform your doordash service with more care!"

Maybe be more upfront with your customers and learn about...

We walked in on Friday 11/19 at 930PM. We knew it was late and had no intentions of being there long. There were two employees, a Male and a female. The male was great. The female, terrible! Rude! When she asked if it was a carry out, once I told her it was not, she looked up at the clock and made a face. No big deal.... It was an order of 5 that was split between the two employees. Everytime a new customer walked in, she just made a terrible face. Rolling her eyes. My kid went next door to wingstop to pick up some food (with no intentions of eating it at their location). Once he returned, she was under the impression it was a new customer and whispered "OMG!" while making more ugly faces. At 9:59PM a family of 4 arrived and she told them they were closed, as they double checked their phones. The male employee made 3 of our orders pretty quickly. My last order completed by the female was handed to me at 10:04pm. We left immediately upon getting our last order. We all need jobs however if you are this dissatisfied with yours, I suggest you find a new one. The ice cream was good. Something different from most common ice...

Was excited to get rolled ice cream locally & was SUPER pleased with both flavors we ordered. So many flavors, mix-ins & toppings to choose from makes the possible combinations seem endless. The shop itself was bright & cheery with pretty pastel decor. Only complaint I have is one employee, the blonde girl, was not wearing a mask while preparing orders. I was a bit uncomfortable with a maskless stranger breathing on my food. I didn't realize she was making my order until the last minute (we were seated while it was being prepared & I had placed the order with the other employee.) Next time we visit I will request a masked employee prepare our order. Hopefully the owners will take health safety a bit more into consideration going forward & have their employees wear a mask while...
