I recently had the pleasure of hosting the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Houston Gives Back event at Incanto, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience. Incanto’s team went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 25+ women, who gathered to network and support a great cause—collecting toys for children at a local outreach center. A huge thank you to the owner, who not only provided a welcoming atmosphere but also generously donated gifts for our raffle. The bartender crafted delicious and creative drinks that were a hit with everyone, and his positive, accommodating attitude made the event even more enjoyable. The staff was attentive throughout the evening, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. As for the food, the boards and truffle popcorn were absolute fan favorites—such a great touch that kept everyone satisfied as we mingled. I would highly recommend Incanto for any occasion, whether you're looking for a spot to unwind during happy hour, meet friends, or host a professional gathering. The ambiance is perfect for both casual and business settings, and the happy hour specials are definitely worth checking out. They also have indoor and outdoor seating to meet everyone’s needs. Thank you, Incanto, for hosting such a memorable evening! I'll certainly be back.

Don’t recommend this place. Updated: came back about a year later. Although the decor is just as nice, unfortunately their wine menu has been scaled down to a few uninteresting & overpriced selections. Pizza was also just ok this time. Ended up paying $35 ($40 with tip) for a just ok margarita pizza and one mediocre (at best) glass of Malbec. Plus the wines listed on the menu are not the same wines you receive. (Malbec on menu was Bodeca Ruca, wine I was poured was Lote 44). There was no indication from the bartender that they did not have the wine listed on the menu. If I hadn’t asked I wouldn’t have known. This Malbec was definitely not worth $15 per glass. Then have to pay for valet parking. It was pretty dead on an early Friday evening. Don’t think I’ll ever come back here again. Love the decor in this original Heights bungalow. Modestly sized but thoughtful wine & cocktail list with something for everyone. Prices are typical for Heights/Montrose/Inner Loop. Had a great pet nat (Château Maris Rare Orange 2021). Service was friendly & prompt. Margarita pizza was mediocre- crust was soft, underdone, & only 3 leaves of basil on entire pizza. They opened recently so hopeful food will improve. Complimentary valet parking. Check out Happy Hour 4-6 M-F, 50% off cocktails, beer & wine btg.

Wow and disbelief are good words to use to describe this experience. Yesterday evening we arrived (party of two) around 7:25. We were seated (great) and then about ten - fifteen minutes later we put in drinks and a small cheese plate. By 8:15 PM we received the small cheese plate still no drinks. We ordered a thyme after thyme and a glass of red wine. We were ready to leave by 8:00 PM and asked to be closed out once we got the cheese plate thinking it’s been 45 minutes and still no cocktails. We thought, the drinks are never coming they forgot which was ok because we just wanted to leave. The drinks were dropped on the table ~ 8:25 - 8:35 PM (I am not exaggerating we were keeping track at this point) almost an hour after we arrived at a cocktail bar did we finally receive drinks. I wanted to try the red wine and saw floaters and assumed it must be cork residue. Nope - they were little fruit flies. So, we waited an hour for drinks at a cocktail bar - was the wine sitting and the fruit flies got in? So many questions about this experience still, we mentioned it to the server and he apologized and said he would mention it to his manager. At this point I just wanted to leave and if I had to sit for another minute with zero service it was going to upset me even more. We swiped and tipped 20% for zero service, drinks that arrived almost an hour after we sat down and a cheese plate that arrived 35-45 minutes after we sat down. Not sure if there was a staffing issue but if patrons are expected to drop $55 + tip on two drinks a small cheese plate, FFS get it together. We left and went to Nancy’s Hustle (literally night vs. day walking into Nancy’s Hustle where the service, food, and vibes are 1000% on point always). Very disappointed and will not be returning not even if they were giving away drinks for...

This place has gone downhill under the new ownership. I came here for a friend’s birthday with a large group (30–40 people) and the service and pricing were beyond disappointing.

When I ordered my drink, the bartender said they had a new menu but could still make my raspberry margarita. I waited at my table for 15 minutes, only to find out the drinks had just been sitting there on the side. He couldn’t even bother to let me know they were ready—just a few feet away.

Later, my friend ordered the same drinks. She briefly went to the restroom while he was about to make them, and instead of just finishing, he told her she’d “have to wait” because she wasn’t standing there. Completely unnecessary and rude.

But the worst part was the price gouging. Three margaritas came out to $65 because he decided to make them with Patron without asking. No customer should be automatically upsold to top-shelf liquor without consent. Normally, you’re given the choice. The drinks themselves were tiny—maybe 6-ounces—and nowhere near worth $21 each. ( pictured below) Add a service fee on top of that, and the final bill was ridiculous.

This was a birthday party with a big crowd bringing the bar plenty of business, yet the service was careless and the pricing practices felt dishonest. Upselling without asking is unacceptable, and charging sky-high prices for small drinks feels like a scam.

I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they fix their service and stop gouging...
