They have forgotten our orders. Taken over an hour and a half for delivery. They don't pick up the phone. Or respond to email.
I loved it the first time I ate here, but there is serious problem with management. I can't fathom how they stay in business.
For example today: I called the location 3 times today waiting several minutes each time on hold to inquire about an online order. On the third time someone finally picked up and said it was ready. This is almost 2 hours later. I get in my car to head over and I get a call from Pinks...they want to ask if I still wanted it because "they had been waiting for me to pick it up for quite some time"...ummm, no? I had JUST called to check when it would be ready several times and they couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone and they want to call to complain that I haven't picked up a pizza I had no idea would be ready until 2 minutes before?? The woman copped an attitude about the wait on the phone (and seemed to avoid that I had not only just spoken to her, but had been calling the past hour), so I told her to cancel. I have given them three "freebies", but it is just ridiculous at this point. After the second forgotten order, I don't trust the pick up time, so I call in advance to see if it is still on time. If I call several times with no one answering the phone, of course my gut reaction won't be "They must be on time for my order!"...I'm going to assume that they have forgotten it for a third time.
Management should...
Read moreI'm trying to order a delivery to an address that is a 5 min walk from your location. I'm paying a $3 fee (ok, fine), I'm tipping $4.60, but I still cannot checkout because your website is giving me an error telling me to add another $2.10 for delivery. There is not a button for that, there is no way for me to know how to do that. You have lost my business. If you want to correct it, you will get money from customers but right now, you look incompetent and loosing business. I'm using up-to-date Chrome browser by the way.
Edit: Now the owner (or whomever is assisting the actual work) is asking me what location I'm ordering from when Google maps reviews gives you no way to reply to someone. Also, it says what location I'm ordering from in my review. I'm reviewing the Houston Greater Heights location. Hey owner, the location I'm ordering from is on the review you're replying to. Have you tried to order from your own store on a computer before, ever? How do we manage businesses in 2024? We just let some large personless tech company do all the work and wait for customers to complain before we try to fix anything? I ordered from UberEATS by the way because I'm hungry and not waiting for you to troubleshoot your systems. I honestly don't know why I'm replying except this is amusing...
Read moreIt's 1:00 P.M. I am leaning back in a chair on my balcony alongside a female. A laptop sits on a chair between us, releasing satisfying one minute long snippets of 90's era rap music. As each song changes, a fresh flow of beer slowly pours into our over-sized shot glasses. Song after song, beer after beer, we listen and drink. The game, is power hour.
As I sit on my chair confused as to where the time has gone, I glance down at the pile of empty beer cans we have amassed. We are 20 beers in, my judgment is slipping. The female that once accompanied me is nowhere to be seen, I honor the loss of my fallen soldier with a trip to the bathroom. The evacuation of what was once beer from my now stretched and hunger ridden stomach precipitates into my head the idea of ordering pizza.
I lay on the couch, fingers riddled with grease. My mustache closely resembling what one could only describe as a battlefield. It was here where cheese, crust, sauce, and pepperoni fought ever so pointlessly against my mouth. I eye the empty pizza box. Exhausted, proud, I close my eyes and slip into my post-pizza food coma.
It was a...
