The lady working drive through last night , Saturday night 7/27/2019 at 12 am to be exact was stealing. and the manager were stealing right along with her. She had a ponytail wrapped into a bun and he had a keloid on his ear. She was rude and kept complaining about being 40 and working drive through and people calling her while she sleep asking about her time she spends on taking orders. She complained about customers not knowing what they wanted and she gets in trouble for it. That’s not my fault that Jack in the Box has lousy process control !!!! How ca n they time you for taking an order?? Time a person for making it and giving it to the customer but taking the order and getting the payment is also dependent upon the customer. Now I shouldn’t know any of that. But she was rude to me because I didn’t know what I wanted. Jack in the Box is not the first place I go to with their lousy food, prices and now customer service. Me and my kids we’re moving all day and they were hungry so I got the food. But I made sure to pay with my debit card and guess what ? She had to ring it up when I got to the register 😑 THATS HOW I KNOW SHE WAS STEALING. Soon as she asked me if I was paying in cash and just give her 25 for all of the food I knew what she was doing so I kept my cash and paid with my card. Trust me I worked fast food and I seen how it goes. She was so disrespectful my older kids was like Ma get your money back we don’t want the food but I still have to feed my younger kids. It was a matter of lost dignity when I visited this Jack in the Box.However, I messed her head up when I said I’m using my debit card and another thing, when I noticed she messed up the order and asked her what was going on when she because she only “ remembered it” she told me I’m asking too many questions.... This lady needs to be fired for stealing and being nasty and rude and the manager needs to be fired for allowing it and he has to cook the food if it’s not rung up then he is in on it too. They need to put a camera in that store and they need to watch inventory and cash out on the nights they work.
Edit: Called back Sunday morning to report the incident and a woman answered. I asked her if a manger was in and she said no. They I asked for the owners information and she said they have it but can’t give it out. So then I asked well what information can you give me to report a problem and she said hold up so I held on for 15 minutes and hung up. I called right back and it was busy. Read moreToday my husband and I stopped at Jack in the box to get a quick bite through the drive through. Our service was absolutely horrible.
We ordered a simple 2 orders of tacos and the cashier repeated back two tacos and said the total. My husband said excuse me to correct the order on the screen and she yelled we are busy. They never answered or returned to the drive through speaker so we pulled forward up to the window. When she said our total we told her sorry we were trying to let you know it’s two order of tacos. She said you have to go back around to the drive through line and order again. I said I’m sorry I can’t do that if it wasn’t our mistake. She said there’s nothing I can do for you. I proceeded to ask for the manager and she rolled her eyes and got the manager.
When the manager came I calmly explained the situation and she said the girl at the window is new so I don’t know what happened you have to order and go back around. I explained that did not seem fair after waiting such a long time. The manager said I don’t know what happened but that’s all you can do. Then I proceeded to ask if I could just have the original one order of tacos the cashier got. But to my surprise the manager said you have to order and go back around. So I asked, what I ordered at the drive through is not ready? She said no and that other customers behind us were waiting on their food. I’ve never felt so disrespected by such rude unapologetic customer service needless to say Jack in the Box has lost a faithful customer.

Thies was at the 5415 S Rice Ave in Houston TX on Wed 7-3-2024 at around 2 pm. The place was so empty except for the homeless person in the dining room trying to escape the Houston heat wave. There was no one behind the counter. An employee standing around doing nothing looked at me and turned around. I would not leave the counter so I initiated the conversation since nothing like "can I help you". I showed her my phone app and asked her whether this place carries Tiny Tacos. She said she didn't know. I then said, are you sure? Then she said the supply truck is coming tomorrow morning. I then said on July 4th? She then repeated that the supply truck is coming tomorrow. I got back in my car to phone other stores since the piped in music was so loud inside and none of the stores picked up their phones. I just tried calling the 5415 S. Rice store this morning around 9:30 AM and it hung up stating voice mail is full. With the price of gas, and air-conditioning my car in Houston heat wave (even hot by Houston standards) I am not traveling around from Jack to Jack for fried food I really should not be eating.
