P. King — Restaurant in Houston

Hands down the BEST Chinese food I’ve had in Houston! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles. The restaurant is owned by the sweetest husband and wife duo who genuinely care about your experience. They gave amazing recommendations and explained everything so thoroughly, making sure we got exactly what we were craving. I ordered the black pepper wings with fried rice and a homemade lemon pepper dipping sauce on the side—OMG, absolutely phenomenal. The wings were perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and the sauce took it to a whole new level. My boyfriend got the sesame chicken with fried rice and let’s just say… his plate was spotless by the end. He devoured every bite! Not only was the food incredibly fresh and flavorful, but the customer service alone would keep me coming back again and again. There are three P. King locations in Houston, but this one is the one. We won’t be going anywhere else!

Open late night, it’s the perfect spot after a night out. 10s across the board. Do yourself a favor and give them a try—you won’t regret it!

Have been to a few P Kings around town. This one needs some serious help. Whoever is cooking needs to not just follow recipes, they need to know what they’re cooking and know how it’s supposed to taste.

Pan Fried Dumplings could have been crispier Vietnamese springs rolls were poorly constructed, too many rice noodles with few other ingredients. Hot & Sour Soups were too thin. Curry Chicken under-seasoned, and sauce too thin. Mongolian beef was tough and flavorless. Just throwing jalapeños in it, does not make it flavorful. Chicken & Broccoli was fine. Hard to mess that up Chicken lo Mein was just ok. Meh. Crispy Noodles were the only things they seemed to get right.

It was a last minute decision as many other places were closed on Monday. Spent over $100 here. Big mistake....

I was really excited to see a near by chinese place to go on my lunch breaks. As soon as it opened my husband and I decided to check it out and was very pleased with the food. We got the teriyaki chicken which comes with broccoli, shrimp with vegetables and garlic sauce, stir fried green beans, shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. All was sooooo good and fresh and I am happy to say I have found my new go to for chinese. They also have fresh fruit and macaroons that are delicious.
