We went here after we saw some out of town gamers visit here on one of their YouTube videos. I've honestly passed by this restaurant for at least 15 years and never thought to stop by and try it. The food and service is great. If you like spice, the red salsa here is for you. I ate so much of it I barely ate my entree. The green salsa I didn't care for, I might have if I tried it first but when I had that red salsa I couldn't stop. We got street tacos and carne guisada. It all came out quick, everything we asked for we were given. Service was quick and attentive. Food was delicious. We did go early because we wanted to beat the lunch rush. They had live music, which was nice and different. The only reason atmosphere didn't get 5 stars is because the parking is a little tricky. The restaurant is between the 59 feeder and westpark street. So parking is a little tricky they have parking on both sides of the restaurant but they aren't connected so to access the other side you have to get back on the street and try to make it to the other side. We lucked out and found the last spot on one side but it is worth it. We paid $36 for the food, Mexican coke and tip. We would def come back to try other menu items and try breakfast. This is a good option for us when we want to go to Micro Center since they are down the street from each other.

I ordered to go 2 street taco plates. One Carne asada the other Pollo. I subbed the beans for rice. The rice was good, but the Carne asada was well well done and hard to chew. The chicken was good but greasy. The chiles toreados were missing on both plates. I wouldn't have cared to write a review, but I love chiles toreados, and for a $30.00 lunch, it seems high. Ok, well I expect my order to have everything I paid for. So I'm leaving advice for the future. Don't leave out chiles. Leave out grease or oil on tinga and throw overcooked steak away. Serve fresh. It's partially my fault because I should have checked the order before I left. Walked out, and didn't see the missing chiles until I was too far away to come back. Thanks

This place is good for groups. You got a lot to talk about when your in here because it has a lot of character. If your in here on weekend nights they have karaoke at the end of the restaurant, which is a separate bar section. I tried their shrimp tacos which are NOT “Baja” style, they will serve them in a traditional Mexican style with cilantro & cebolla. So i would order a fajita or enchilada plate. My friend got tacos de lengua, which is cow tongue and were fantastic. Another dislike was that your chips and salsa comes with a salsa in a dispenser that you squeezed it yourself which is something I’m not used to when it come to Mexican restaurants. Other than that the staff is really friendly and the karaoke is really fun.

Had a great experience last week, not so much this week. Last week service was fast and they kept checking to make sure everything was ok. Each time I ordered the Wednesday special (Parrillada Jalisciense). Chicken was great, beef fajita I would not recommend. This week's I actually spit back out and left the remainder of it because it was too chewy or maybe just cut wrong. Rest of the dish was on point including their homemade tortillas. Chile con queso was great, along with the chips it came with. Margaritas were good. Not sure if they just weren't expecting as many people today (It was about 12:40PM when we arrived, but our food took about 45 minutes.) As soon as they brought out the food I requested the bill and a to-go box as I knew i would have leftovers. Bill was never brought and another lady other than our waitress was the one that eventually brought us our to-go box about 20 minutes after my initial request. Again, just not sure if today was the norm or the exception.

*Response to owner. I Had a couple. The initial one that took our drink order (and food order). There was another one that came out to ask us about our food order to see if we wanted corn or flour (and in which i corrected the appetizer as the first one had it incorrect), the food was brought out I believe by the first one. The third person was the one clearing tables and that asked us if everything was ok and that's when I let her know that no one ever brought the bill or to-go box. Everyone was wearing their face masks so it's difficult for me to provide...

I feel played going here. Now just because I don’t speak Spanish well, I do understand enough especially when it comes down to my food. I told the waitress what I wanted, even showed her a picture(Arroz Con Pollo/Chicken and cheese rice…SIMPLE MEAL) and guess what she still came back to the table with the WRONG thing. Ok then no big deal, I’ll make it work because it included everything I wanted except QUESO so I decided to just order that. The waitress had the nerve to bring me back SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE, baby you are not going piss on me and tell me it’s raining. At this point my brother and I are angry, so we asked for the ticket stating we were going to just take the food and go. The waitress literally begins to take our food off the table aggressively touching it in the process as if we didn’t just tell her we were going to take the food and go. Fast forward…we get the ticket and see that she charged us for THE FOOD that she took and the drinks oh and let’s not forget the cheese lol. So I asked the waitress why I have to pay for something that I didn’t eat nor touch. Her response was a shrug of the shoulders so at this point no more communication with her. The lady at the entrance/exit fixed the ticket and we only paid for the drinks that we had. Okok so with all that being said I WONT bring my daddy back from the dead to eat here ESPECIALLY if you’re black and I’m just calling a...
