Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Houston

Jimmy John's is one of my go-to sandwich shops, especially when I need to get in and out quick. There are a few shops around Houston that I frequent, and I've never had an issue with burnt bread before this location. I have now eaten here twice, and both times the bread has been very tough. Tough. The first time it seemed like stillbread, but this time the bottom of the loaf was definitely burnt. As you can see in the video, I can knock on it like a door made out of wood. Not only is it tough to choose through. It also has a burnt taste. The rest of the sandwich is so darn good. I'm going to eat the peck out of it anyway. For the record, I have purchased their day old bread and Not only is it a great deal, but it's always been softer then the bread I have received from this location on my fresh made sandwich. I will say their customer service besides the burnt bread of course is awesome! They have always acknowledged my customizations, and made my sandwich with accuracy, so I am surprised about the whole bread thing. I would give zero stars if I could...I order from several locations all the time and today was my worst experience ever with this location, ordered two #10s and one was toasted and never asked for a toasted sandwich plus the #10 is double th roast beef and double provolone, these sandwiches had no cheese and it was not double what I paid for! Smh on top of that order left location at 5:15 pm and I didn't get the order until 5:57 pm! And I live 6 min away smh...so I got a soggy sandwich plus the bread was burnt and hard...I didn't even eat it! I was told by management that they use Uber on weekends to deliver for JJ why?? I started a new job. I placed my order and waited for my food. I didnt get a call, but the food showed delivered. I looked over the office for it and couldnt find it. The building is a little different and my office is hard to find. So I wasnt sure if they just took it back to the store. I called the store. The manager delivered me my food quickly. The delivery guy was awesome and called me before hand to make sure I got it. I walked back to my office and started eating before my 3 oclock meeting. I walked into my meeting and my boss had my sandwich on his desk. He said oh I have your sandwich! Needless to say I called the location back and thanked them! It was here.
