King Palace Super Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Houston

They were clean. Food was ok in general, but fish was dried out. Ribs was very tough, shrimp was pretty good. The absolutely violate ADA under federal law, and give zero accomodations to the disabled. They would not serve food to us, and not let us go to the bar without a mask even though the governor's order says under 10 years of age or health issues that prevents the people from wearing a mask. Such as a face tumor, claustrophobia, missing an ear, copd, or respatory disorders...... even after notice and demand....

They refuse and threaten you that you will be trespassed by their police officer on site.. just another violation.....if it were for many reasons it might be lawful...

But for a trespass based on their violation of federal law that they know not to do, and further discriminate against you.and threatening you with trespass and may go to jail. Is horrid and a crime.

Several restaurants have been made to close and/or pay huge fines to the federal court and the victims of discrimination...

All they had to do is accommodate you by bringing food to the table for you due to your disability..... this is what Golden Corral does and other restaurants..... not this place.... don't blame it on misunderstanding because it was very plain and they said it doesn't matter the law...you do it or we throw you out and trespass you...

This is a gross violation of the law.... this year marks 31 years it has been the law.

Family & I have been coming here for a few years now , food can be hit or miss depending on the day your coming , if it’s busy it’s better food as it’s fresh.

Today 1/31/2019 we visited and my husband found a yellow rubber band in his vegetable lo mein, we didn’t create a big fuss just simply informed the waitress and she grabbed the manager . The manager response is what upset us as he simply said we don’t have these color bands we have green ones. It probably fell off someone’s head . Like what . My girls and i all had our hair in pony tails with thick black hair ties. Basically tried to imply we were lying. For what? For a $10 discount ? Which btw he didn’t even offer. Hell a simple I’m so sorry would’ve been fine. Granted all the other times we’ve visited have been great service , but this “manager” was horrible. Needs to be retrained. I could’ve handled the situation differently but with my kids present we decided we would let it slide. Could’ve been a simple mistake.

We’ll be back but just wanted to warn everyone if you find a mistake manager won’t accept fault. Instead he’ll point a finger...
