Luxe Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Houston

If I could give 0 stars I would. For this to be an establishment in Houston you’d think we’d have an experience worth sharing with others to come and enjoy as well. We came for my sister’s performance & our server Alana was either nowhere to be found and more focused on talking and smoking hookah as if she was a customer. My sister sat for over an hour for wings, my other sister never got her food or water and we found out about over 3hrs of waiting that she didn’t even put it in the system. When I finally got my wings they were absolutely disgusting. Super dry, chicken tasted gummy and she didn’t even bring the ranch or waters we asked for. I had to get up and ask again for the waters that took 30-45 mins to grab from behind the bar because she was sitting at the bar talking and smoking hookah. When she came back to the table at almost the end of the performances she asked if we were good and I told her I never got my ranch but it’s whatever I guess cause the wings were nasty and my sister never got her food or water she just walked off. It was cold we were the only people in there! The food is over priced and we waited almost a hour for our food. After driving 3 hours to try this food that I was seeing on instagram that wasn’t worth the time or money spent. We paid 30 buck for over cooked Mac and cheese with one oxtails in the bowl. The soda was flat and was charged a refill for a drink of sprite given in a cocktail glass. Turkey leg was cook so much it had no seasoning on it and u know they are salty. Came in a on a Monday for the food,and asked for the chicken Alfredo which I’d assume is just as good as the recommendation of adding blackened catfish on top because they were out of chicken and ending up being an amazing combination. The ambiance was very nice good music not loud and obnoxious. Server was super nice and helping. My partner got the burger and took her first bite and her first words were OMG, this is so good. Fried came out fresh and hot, also tried the lemon drop and the liquid marijuana and both were very good and not too strong.
