To the McDonalds on 940 N Wilcrest Dr. Houston Tx,77079(google maps provided the exact address) This specific McDonalds can not cease to amaze me. I literally live across the street so I frequent this establishment at various times of the day and service is amazing(between the hours of 10:a.m and 12:29 a.m.), they know my order when I walk in. However when I visit this Mc Donalds on 940 N Wilcrest Dr Houston Tx, 77079 ANYTIME after 12:30 a.m. something is always down or broken(between the hours of 12:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.). I went to this Mc Donalds on August 25 ,2019 at around 1:30 a.m. all I wanted was a hot and spicy and a med fry. Before I even told the gentlemen what I wanted he said "its gong to be about a 10 min wait and they have a select menu, what did you want" I said I would like a hot and spicy and a med fry he said "our fryers are down so we can't do that". I said ok and drove the the gas station which is in the same parking lot of this Mc Donalds and I waited for about a minute. After that minute I drove back around though the drive through and before I said anything the gentleman said " its going to be a 15 to 20 min wait and we have a select menu". thats when I asked "so what do you guys have" he said "beef patties" and then I said " so I can order a burger but no fries" he said "yes" so then I asked when "will the fryer be up" he replied " I don't know because its down right now" I said "ok" and drove to the gas station in the same parking lot and sat there for about 5 minutes and I counted 13 cars drive off because the "fryers were down". Do I believe the the fryers were actually down NO. Simply because every time I've been to this Mc Donalds past 12:30 a.m., all but about 3 times something has been wrong and I could not order food. Just to get my point across SOMETHING is always broken from 12:30 a.m. to whatever time the next crew comes in and to be completely honest its getting old so what I vowel to do is every time I go to this Mc Donalds past 12:30 a.m. and I get the same ol "something is broken(the fryer is down)" I WILL leave a comment and I WILL e...
Read moreI am truly appreciative of this McDonalds giving back to the essential workers, but I do not appreciate the General Manager Mr. Alvarez giving me an attitude. I usually do not eat McDonalds, which today proved that I will NEVER eat McDonald’s again.
My coworkers let me know what they were doing to give back. I pulled up to order and let the worker know that I was an essential worker. When I go to pay, I show the badge. The worker went to get the manager, who asked to see my ID again, which I did not mind. He then proceeds to make a snarky comment about coming inside to use the discount. My thought process is the signs are posted on the drive thru windows, so they could atleast add it as a disclaimer to the signs. Some people still read, it is not a lost art form.
When I made that comment he proceeds to raise his voice and call me sweetie. I asked for his name, he tells me he is the General Manager, gives his first and last name with pride. No General Manager should act that way, I get that it is a busy but it is your job. I am not sorry that you had to walk all the way to the back just to enter your code. You don’t even own this McDonalds. I am NOT your sweetie, and I do not appreciate you being PETTY and trying to charge me. He proceeds to ask if I am military. I am a hospital worker, which is on the sign. I know he did not give anyone else this much trouble.
EVERYONE is going through something right now, not just you. Treat people...
Read moreOnce again poor McDonald's and these new owner's please get your staff together this is the only 24 hour open by me they are open but they will easily let you sit there for 5 to 10 minutes to get your order taken especially at late night hours this place usually stays busy but the employees don't really listen to your order's or they just give you what they feel like giving you they are very ghetto here. I had to send my order back 3 times because they keep giving me different things just random things that I different order, or like warm food. I asked for extra cheese and asked for it to be melted on the burger si either fresh cooked meat or microwave it or something I was told they couldn't melt the cheese I asked why and they said they didn't really know it was just policy well everyone knows that if you put room temp. Cheese even on a warm burger and the bun is not warm the cheese will make the burger cold faster and this place is like 10 to 12 minutes away from my house but you also have to take into account that the food is not hot when you get it so it is almost really cold by the time you get it home to eat it. Like I stated the 3 local McDonald's have really gone downhill since new owner's bought them about 2 years ago which is memorial, wilcrest, & Eldridge locations and the employees don't care they are to busy playing with each other in back to take care of the customers. This is what I finally got after 3 times of...
