MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Houston

Aug 24, 2022 Wed Afternoon Workers Pic Included There is a black girl at this location ( can't include her name because she refuses to wear a name tag and was using the register under another person's name) She is extremely rude, refuses to speak -let alone look at you as you inform her of what to put on your order. She moved extremely slow while her coworkers worked diligently around her. Even having to speak for her. I was kind and friendly to her, attempting to spread kindness. But she refused to engage, let alone look at me as she put CHUNKS of onions on my pizza. I asked her nicely and respectfully to break up the pieces as she continued to waste not only my time but the other customers in line time by going extremely slow.I always try to be understanding, but she made no attempt to hide she didnt want to service me. I've never meet her before or been to this location since 2020. I hope she wasnt sick making pizza. I always tip, but I did not today. She was with no reason at all very rude and disrespectful to me. As I waited for my food she went to the back and laughed with the other black male worker. I don't know if this is sick game they play to pass the time but it is unprofessional. I asked my friend that was with me if they noticed the rude behavior and they were confused by it as well. Not many people were there. They proceed to give me my one small pizza, after 3 other customers who were in line order after me. Not even waiting to allow me to request sauce before just walking away and snickering. Never been treated so unfairly, or had such rude disrespectful behavior directed towards me before at this location. I wont be returning and will be reporting this to corporate. Unacceptable behavior from grown adults. Threw my pizza away upon going home. They most likely spit in it or did worse. Which would explain thier laughing. I did absolutely nothing wrong. Horrible customer service. They will make you stand there while you are the only customer in line to slowly complete a seven pizza online order. Then make you wait at the register while 4-5 people stand around and pretend to work.

Most recent visit, I order and wait for my pizza. I notice a pizza sitting on the counter, but nobody calls my name. Other people are getting their order, but they came before me. Then about five minutes later the rudest employee says that that is my pizza sitting there and that they called my name already. They definitely did not call my name because I was there the entire time, and if they did in fact call my name, why didn’t they call it again when nobody picked up the pizza? I made eye contact with this person several times. She was too busy yelling at the other employees in front of all the customers.

Pathetic excuse for an employee then says “you got yo pizza now, don’t you?” Absolutely disrespectful. You could tell she got a kick out of being soo smug and rude to me. This person “B” (wouldn’t give me her real name) needs to be reprimanded and retrained at minimum. Horrible customer service and an embarrassment to your company. I’m sure she could care less because that seems to be the type of low level humans that work there.

BURNT AND BAD SERVICE! See photos. After an incredibly long and prosperous day, I was starving. I treated myself and my daughter two “Pizza” at Mod. Despite the fact that one of the employees made fun of the name I gave under his breath to his cohort, and that his friend literally held the mushrooms for my pizza in her hands for what felt like 5 minutes while her back was turned to me and she eavesdropped on her managers conversation- BECAUSE I’m a kind hearted mother I gave these kids a 15% tip they clearly didn’t deserve. But to add insult to injury, I smelt BURNING DOUGH which dissipated after my two boxes of pizza were closed. The manager had the audacity to knowingly serve me BURNT PIZZA. I saw the crust right before she closed the box but because it was a long day and I needs to leave AND WAS STARVING, I took my two orders and left knowing o would NEVER come back. The price is so burnt it breaks into like a cookie. Thankfully the second pizza was not burnt- which was my daughters pizza. I have been living in this area for quite some time however this was my second and now last time going to this location. Screw this place and make your own...
