I ordered drive through to go, I waited until the app said the food was ready, I then waited at the window for over 5 minutes for my food (no other cars in the line before or after me) when I did receive my order I found the soup I had ordered was wrong, I took it inside and they replaced it, about 5 minutes later (I was eating in the parking lot) I found the sandwich I had ordered was not given to me and I was given something else. I go take it back inside (there are maybe 4 people in the cafe and no one at the drive through, 2-3 employees are laughing and talking by the kitchen 1 guy at the register in front helping a customer and 1 guy in the kitchen and a manager). I wait for the cashier to finish with the 1 person in front of me and he calls over a manager (because this is now the 2nd time I come in) immediately the manager seems frustrated that I’m there and says what’s wrong with it (the sandwich) I explain to him I didn’t order that one I ordered something else his response was he was looking for that sandwich he put it in the bag his fault - the words, awesome the tone was not. I tell him I’m frustrated as this is the second time I’m in for this order explain what was wrong first and he starts talking over me saying he can give me a refund or a full sandwich (was originally half) I tell him I just want what I ordered and he continues talking over me saying they are human and make mistakes and they short staffed and what do I want. (At no point was I rude or loud if I was I would understand this response). He tells someone to make my sandwich and walks away. I asked the cashier to tell him never mind because at this point I’m crying. The cashier asks if I want a refund as I leave and I shrug because again I’m crying. I just want this manager to consider his tone when talking to customers, while the words were right he was extremely...
Read morePros: Simple screen ordering system Wide variety of food -Amazing arsenal of condiments to choose from -Table service -Good tasting food -Friendly staff
Cons: -Unavailable ingredients -Hard bread -Pricey for what I received (This is only an OPINION) -Limited choice of cheeses
Although it's only my first time eating here, my experience was not one I'd like to repeat. When I arrived, I ordered from the screens with the thought that it'd be easier to visualize what to eat. The food looks good on the screen and they have a wide variety to choose from, all of which seems healthy, so it was interesting to navigate around the different options. I decided to get a sandwich and so I chose it. To my surprise, 2 key ingredients to the sandwich I had chosen were not available, so, naturally, I chose a different one with a similar message indicating that some ingredients were not available. I finally found a sandwich with only the bread missing as an ingredient and I reasoned that I wouldn't mind switching out the bread. With absolutely nothing added to the sandwich, my tab was past 9 dollars. Adding a medium drink set my final bill at nearly 12 dollars which I consider expensive for a less than 8 inch sub with 2 ingredients. Finally, the bread was pretty hard to chew. The sandwich did not taste bad and had a rather interesting and delightful hint of herbs which I much appreciated. I might give this place another try if I'm dragged along with friends but I will not be eating at Panera by...
Read moreWe arrived the Westheimer location at 7:40 pm and ordered on the kiosk. We paid extra for the Agave drink, but the container was empty. Normally the food comes out quickly. However, at 8:00, the restaurant turned off its interior lights. We walked up to the counter and was told the restaurant was closed, so we’d have to eat in the car. This was never our intention. Panera could not make 2 small soups, a cup of Mac-n-cheese, and a small sandwich in twenty minutes. We walked outside and they locked the doors behind us. While in the car, I opened my French onion soup and it spilled all over me. Reason why: there was no bread croutons or extra cheese that I paid for on top of my soup. It was broth and onions, which went all over my pants. My boyfriend received corn chowder, in lieu of Mexican street corn chowder (no toppings). My daughter had to eat her luke warm Mac-n-cheese with potato chips, since she was not given a spoon. I walked back up to the door and was let back inside. I showed the manager my soup and he asked me if I wanted him to throw some bread on top. Really? This couldn’t have been done when the order was made? Needless to say, I threw my soup in the garbage, in front of him. I have them my name/number and was told someone from the restaurant would call me. They have not. I’d like a refund, for having to eat in the car, poor service, incorrect food, and the inconvenience of getting soup all over my jeans. DO NOT GO TO...
