Today was my first time trying MOD Pizza. Due to having a newborn and a prescooler, I decided to order online for pickup.I ordered 1-MOD Pizza 1-Mini pizza, 1-cinnamon stix, 1-mini salad. I sent my 11 year old in to pick up our order, and they forgot my mini salad. I sent her back in to pick it up. Upon inspecting my pizza, they left off the buffalo drizzle, so again she went back in. I see her standing at the counter with no employee acknowledging her. It wasnt very busy, since it was way after the lunch hour and before the dinner rush. I was getting ready to call to have someone help her, since the employees inside were goofing around while my baby is standing at the counter with a pizza in her hand. Finally after like 5 minutes she gets some help. She came back out happy because she was given a free shake. Turns out, she was finally helped because there was a nice lady customer that had seen her standing at the counter and asked her if she needed help. It was then that she recieved acknowledgement from the staff.Overall the pizza was great, just dissappointed that it took 2 trips inside to get my order correctly. Had my order been correct I would have rated my food...
Read moreI have eaten at several MOD Pizza locations, but this one is the absolute worst for service. I showed up for a late lunch around 1:30 in the afternoon. Upon arriving I noticed there weren't hardly anyone in the restaurant, and no waiting line so I thought this would be great. I entered the establishment and did not receive the "Welcome to MOD" greeting I have come to expect when dining at this chain of restaurants. There were 2 women behind the pizza making section, 1 young man tending the pizza oven, and another young man who was at the order pick up section. I walked up to begin ordering my pizza and after approximately 5 minutes of watching 2 women inventory toppings and look directly at me 3 different times, the guy tending the oven look at me and smile, and the other guy call the only 2 customers to get their pizza completely ignore me, I walked out. At no point was I even acknowledged as a customer or asked to hang on just a minute while they finished their task they were working on. There is no excuse what so ever for a complete lack of...
Read moreIf you haven't experienced MOD Pizza yet, you are in for a surprise. This is not your typical pizza joint. If your family is like mine, then you understand the great topping negotiation that happens every time you order pizza ("I want pineapple" vs "fruit doesn't belong on pizza!"). MOD has popularized a new form of fast, personal pizzas. You approach the ordering counter and select which toppings you want on your personal sized pizza, they assemble it for you, slide it into the big oven, and call your name a few minutes later with a finished pie. This has become my wife's favorite pizza place because its the same price no matter how many toppings you choose! If you are feeling indecisive, they even have a menu of pizzas with preselected toppings from which to choose. This Kingwood East Mod Pizza was flooded by Harvey along with all of the other businesses and homes in this area and now they're back in business. Oh, and be sure to look for the cyan-colored Harvey flood level line commemorating having overcome...
