Poorly managed. Inefficient. Never once on-time (or even close) mobile order ready. Staff has never been rude, just inefficient.
Yes, I know this is probably the busiest location in Kingwood, but in the grand scheme of Starbucks there are hundreds, if not thousands, of locations that are much busier. I've been to easily 20 that are busier and none have consistent issues like this one.
AVOID this location if you ever have anything planned for the next 45 minutes. Whatever "innovative" process that this location is trying is a failure.
I have ordered mobile at least 6 times (that I could find) and walked in to order at least 4 other times. Mobile order wait times are at least double whatever the app says. I've always had to wait at least 10 minutes MORE than the latest time originally promised. Walk in and drive through aren't much better and it's almost always going to be close to a 30 minute trip.
For example, this morning I placed an order for an Americano and a Cinnamon Dolce--two very simple drinks. I walked in 4 minutes after the promised time and they hadn't even started my drink. It took another 20 minutes to receive them. Their mobile order ticket "system" stuck on their bean-grinder is nothing more than a roulette wheel with even worse odds. Your drink will NEVER be made in the order in which they're placed or even by promised-time. I did a quick straw poll of the others waiting for their drinks and all said roughly the same--waiting way longer than reasonably expected.
A change in management is needed or management needs to actually follow Starbucks standard policies that are working fine at other locations. Until then, find...
Read moreI have been going to this Starbucks for 2+ years. I don't know what happened to that location but I will find another coffee place after this last experience. The first CRAPPY experience was a few months ago when they used expired product to make my drink and the oatmilk had actual chunks in my drink and was sour. I called customer service and the "manager" called me to tell me the next time I come in to see her because she has a gift card for me. She gave me $5! My drink was $6.25! So what a waste of time that was. And then today happened... I ordered my usual order and when the girl was passing the drinks through the window to my car she was moving way too fast and literally spilled all FOUR drinks on me and all over my brand new car! I could see the "manager" behind her and she never even acknowledged that anything happened!!!! Then while they're re-making the drinks and I'm cleaning my car and myself off, some other barista comes to the window and offers 3 shammy cloths, which she almost didn't let me keep as the towels were soaking up my floor boards, and 3 gift cards for a total of $12. My order was almost $30! I don't know how they came up with $12 for the colossal mess now in my car but that is definitely not going to cover even a detailed car wash! I love Starbucks but not at enough to keep going here! The place across the parking lot, Coco Crepes, just got a new customer! That "manager" should be...
Read moreSuburban Starbucks locations are chuck full of baristas who make terrible drinks, use vulgar language in front of customers, follow their own rules, think they can kick people off the property when they use wifi on the patio, just whatever they wanna do man. I was a Starbucks barista for 6 years and have never experienced this behavior until moving out of the inner loop. It is no wonder that statistically they make way less tips than any store in the city. I'm talking .50cents-$1.00/hr. vs. $2.00-$4.00 hr. Pretty noticeable difference. Don't know why they don't pick up on that and learn how to do their jobs better. I Was kicked out for using wifi to study for school after hours. Kicking customers off property who are not disturbing anyone is strictly against Starbucks policy. I've used wifi after hours at Starbucks in 3rd ward where they actually have to worry about robbers and shady characters of all sorts and they wouldn't have kicked me off the property. Cops drove by and didn't care. No other Starbucks ever has and nobody I worked with, including myself, ever has either. I almost got in trouble once just for telling customers they had to go outside when we were closing. Starbucks corp. has put great emphasis on treating their customers well but as long as you hire sheltered suburban kids don't expect...
