Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Houston

Came for lunch. We got seated right away. The wait staff, Melanie, came to ask what we wanted right away. I could not decide so had to ask for extra time. Meanwhile she left and came back with our water. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. My son had lasagna. He wanted salad, I wanted soup that came with our entrees. I barely took a breath when she came back with breadsticks and this big bowl of salad more than enough for two people. I got my pasta e Fagioli as well. I managed to take one bite of the breadsticks and was putting my spoon into my soup when both our entrees came out. I stared at Melanie and said "that was SUPER fast. We got everything we ordered within less than 5 mins of ordering. It was crazy fast. It was also crazy good. Melanie gave us everything we asked for including red pepper flakes. She was like a whirl wind of competence. She also said we could eat all the soup and salad we wanted. I ate all the pasta e Fagioli so I ordered a different soup called Zuppa Toscana. Both soups were hot and delicious. Melanie said Soup Tuscany is gluten free but it just tasted good to me. Breadsticks were soft, salty, and buttery. They were so good I had to ask for more to eat with my soup. Of course I could not finish it all so we asked for togo containers. I love that the salad togo container included breadcrumbs and dressing. I also ordered their take home spaghetti and 5 cheeses ziti for $6 each. You can get up to 5 take home for each entree dine in. Such a great deal for eating later. I will definitely be coming...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Houston, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere .

The staff at Olive Garden were exceptional. They greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel like honored guests throughout our entire visit.

The soups and salads were fresh and vibrant, perfectly setting the stage for the main course. We opted for their Cheese Ravioli and their signature Fettuccine Alfredo, and oh my, it was heavenly! The creamy sauce was rich and velvety, perfectly coating the perfectly cooked pasta. It was a true symphony of flavors that left me wanting to savor every last bite.

The portions at Olive Garden were generous, ensuring that no one leaves hungry. The value for money is remarkable, especially considering the quality of the food and the impeccable service provided. This is one of the few restaurants that I actually go out to eat at. We get the endless soup almost every time we come here. When walking in the door there was a surver standing at the host stand playing games on her phone. Instead of turning it off or leaving or greeting us, she simply hid her phone in her little receipt book and continued to play her game. Upon seating us, the hostess very blandly told us to enjoy, then turned around to the next employee and put a huge smile on her face to talk to them, but couldn't break out that smile for a single guest as I watched her seat other tables. Took us 10 minutes to be approached by a server, we immediately ordered 2 waters "with lemon" we said multiple times. At the same time we ordered 2 soups, the waters came with no lemons. Another 10 minutes later we got our bowls of soup, and one of them was cold! Told him to bring out the next set quickly because we were hungry and would eat these fast. Didn't see our server for another 15 minute . Finally got more bowls, cold again. Asked another server, Kevin, if he could get us some fresh soup because we weren't thrilled with our service. He made our bowls personally and made sure they were perfect. Finally we get someone who's willing to help! It wasn't even our own server though. The second star is for Kevin... no 5 stars for Kevin!! But 2 for...
