Oriental Gardens — Restaurant in Houston

I’m choosing to give 1 star for EVERYTHING. I wouldn’t know what the food taste like but I will say the service and atmosphere was absolutely the worst ever. I got there was was offered the drink, however that all. I sat for over 10min and the waiter kept passing me staring at me and never came to my table. He was asked and reminded I was there and would shake his head. About 6 min after I arrived another table of two ladies sat right next to me. He acknowledged them. He went to them. He took their order and told him he would be right there with them after he spoke to them. He stared at me and walked away. I can honestly say that I was definitely racially profiled so I will sit here and say this place is racist, and I will not change my mind for the way that I was treated. I might not live in Kingwood. I might not be white, but I sure as hell am not any less of a person than anybody else in this world so if you want to be racially profiled go ahead and come to this place because I will never step foot in this place. This place has the worst chinese food I have ever tried. I don't even know how they are still open serving such terrible food. If I could give zero stars I would. Everything we ordered was so bland and flavorless. This had to be the most tasteless and unappealing gross chinese food served in the Kingwood area. My chop suey chicken was absolutely horrible. It consisted of super thin slithers of chicken that were drowned in sprouts, cabbage, onion and celery. The sauce was appalling and the best way I can describe it is clear and slimy. I cannot believe they served me such an unappetizing meal. The dumpling filling was decent but too chewy and the peppered steak had zero to no flavor, whatsoever. I can honestly say the only positive thing was the size of the egg rolls, they are pretty large for the price but they too lacked in flavor. How can you mess up fried rice or even white rice? No, sprouts, onion, carrots or scrambled egg was visible in our fried rice. We searched it with a fork and found only a smidgen of egg here and there. Trust me when I say this place is not worth trying at all. I don't like to leave harsh reviews but my family was collectively disappointed....

The beginning of my 3 orders in a week the fried rice make like the way I requested, make it dark. But today 7.5.22 it was Terrible on a simple fried rice can't make it right today's order. Doordash doesn't do anything with the order and lately Doordash doesn't takes any responsibility or fix the problem with the merchant to re-deliver the correct one to me and I'm just returning back the fried rice I don't eat them. I really don't know if I'm going to order again, because I make the complaint to the restaurant and the manager explained to me that the cashier and the chef doesn't know what is " Make it dark" mean 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️.
