So my plate was $6.99 + tax and this plate definitely should of been more of $4.99 since they’re only going to give little egg and more beans. My father and I both asked for corn tortillas..you would expect that we both got the same tortillas but NO one was Microwaved tortillas while the other was Handmade. We should of both received the same tortillas. Our server took forever on bringing drinks when they’re not even busy. I asked for a water while I waited for my banana smoothie and I had to ask another server to bring me that water. The smoothie was pretty good though, a little too sweet but not overly sweet. The server didn’t give me the right size though! I think because the server was an older lady that she wasn’t able to be a great server since she was slow and forgetful of things. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

MANNNNNN... Let me start off by saying... I've been to MANY Mexican restaurants... many Okay... but NONE can hold a candle to this Houston gem... not only are they friendly, but EVERYTHING taste authentic, VERY WELL seasoned. Every bite was delightful... I mainly go for salsa to most places... and their salsa rojo was good... never been a big fan of salsa verde, UNTIL I came here.. is the perfect amount of spiciness that I needed. I will definitely be coming back and bringing amigos. BTW... I ordered the mixed fajita nachos.. which were delightful, also got the queso... they give you some type of chip (not the ordinary dipping salsa chips) but these were thick and fried to perfection. And my friend got the deep fried flautas... which looked banging. PLEASE GO THERE GUYS....and tell me what yall think. 😋😋😋

Decent place for Mexican food. If I have to say the main draw for me is the green salsa in the squeeze bottle. That and the chips are complimentary. Quantity counts. What I usually get here is Number 2 meal (12.99). The beef as with all Arandas restaurants is cooked on a griddle, not on a grill. It is prepared well, but for what you pay it does not seem enough since the asada meat is sliced thin. Sides were skimpy too. Again quantity counts. Plain Ice Tea is 2.99. Service here is good. No complaints here. This location serves its purpose, as there are actually few good Mexican places in the area. Go to the Northside (esp. Irvington Blvd) for the good stuff.

Within 10 minutes of walking in the door, I walked out.

I was dining alone, on a weekday, late morning. I found a booth, a woman came over, handed me a menu & asked what I'd like to drink.

A few minutes later, Juan came to my table, with my drink, asking me what I wanted. No chips, no salsa. I watched other tables that sat down after me, being served drinks with chips & salsa right away. Why not me? I told Juan I needed a minute to decide, he walked away. I decided to not ask about the chips but rather see if they would bring it with my food.

5 different tables sat down from when he walked away, giving me time to decide what I wanted. Each table was warmly greeted by different female staff, each table was given chips.

I quickly decided what I wanted, looking forward to some good food but no one bothered to take my order. I watched table after table be helped by the female staff as I sat there with my menu closed, waiting for someone to take my order.

I watched Juan leaning against the counter, staring off into the room, totally ignoring me, as if I was forgotten.

Table after table was helped, drinks, chips served, menus taken up.

Enough was enough. 10 minutes of sitting there, being ignored was more than I cared for.

I got up from my table, went to the counter & told Juan I was leaving. The staff ignoring me, while they took care of other tables was rude. I added that I was the only non-hispanic diner there, did they have an issue with that? Was that why I was ignored? Did they have an issue with an older white woman eating alone there?

I have never felt more insulted or ignored in my life. At 59 years old, I was shocked at what I saw & how I was treated.

I'll never return. Do better with ALL your customers, not just ones who are hispanic.

Shame on y'all for making me feel ignored. Shame on Juan for the worst...

I’m so disappointed with this arandas location. For starters I had a reservation for a party of 25 people. They never called me a day before to confirm but I was still under the assumption that they had my reservation. I myself didn’t have time to call to remind them due to I was busy with my own personal life. We celebrated or tried to celebrate my daughter’s baptism here and it was going fine up until it was time to pay. The manager wanted our party to split the tickets in 4 even ways and that was not happening. That was not told prior to reserving nor was it told at the beginning upon arrival. Our server that was taking our order was asking us who had what. My guests and I told the server we were all separate tickets so that was a perfect opportunity to tell us all “oh actually we can’t do it that way. “ or something. Manager claimed there are signs on the door. The okay sign I saw was the no guns allowed inside the building and a gratuity being charge for parties 6 or more. And to top off my experience here they charged us all a 25% gratuity charge which is absolutely ridiculous and not worth it. Service was slow. Food was average. Guests got their food before others. Just absolutely not worth it I myself work in a restaurant as a manager and this is just not how to run a store. Let me know if you guys need a new manager Arandas and I’ll show you how to run a store the correct and...

First time coming to this location and it was amazing. From the food to the customer service. I ordered the fajita quesadillas wow they were delicious. I love cheese and it was super cheesy. The coffee is very good as well not diluted or anything. My husband got the grilled chicken and requested they put melted cheese on top they accommodated to your request. Beans are my favorite also they were on point. My waiters name was Dolores she was awesome. Always checking on us and refilling our coffees before they got too cold. Will definitely be coming back also there is additional parking on the other side we had no idea as parking was crowded on right side of building once we left that’s when we saw the additional parking. Very good food and fast service not long waits to get your food. We went around 11 am before busy lunch hours left just in time when people were arriving on...
