I was very disappointed with the the customer service I received, even when it was escalated to a manager. I ordered my salmon medium and for the topping to be on the side and two sides. When I called a manager name Christina told me if I drove back she would give me the sauce that was supposed to go on top of the salmon. I didn't understand why I had to drive 30 minutes back in the rain just to get the sauce when it was their fault my order was wrong. After I made a big deal about it Christina finally said she'll go ahead and replace the salmon even though she didn't really want to. I told her I will call when I was closer so it wouldn't sit there but she made it anyway and it sat there for 20 minutes because it was not hot. And she throws these tiny little desserts that I already told her I don't do sugar. It would have been better if she replaced my sides with my salmon but instead she want to give me these three tiny dessert trios or samples that are full of sugar that I cannot eat. When I asked about the sides she said she can't replace them. But it's okay to load me up with desserts full of sugar, which was something I did not order on my original order. And the salmon was medium well, not medium like I asked for. And she did not even replace the entire meal with the two sides. So I had to go back home and warm up my sides when it would have been nice if I have had my whole meal cooked to order and I could eat it all together. For an upscale restaurant I got fast food customer service. I had to drive 30 minutes back to restaurant to get a salmon that still wasn't done right and instead of replace the sides I got mini sample dessert. It was disappointing because I couldn't eat the original salmon that was dry my veggies sat at home so I thought if I had to go back to replace salmon I would have gotten my veggies and potatoes fresh. When I warmed the potatoes in the microwave it wasn't the same. So it was very frustrating and disappointing the manager couldn't give me my sides with my salmon instead of forcing their mini desserts on me. I responded to the response and another manager Felicia stating she wanted to help but I was back and forth with her on the phone all day trying to find my order. I do not understand how I am giving a credit card number and seeing a charge on my bank account and it's still hard to locate. So for one day I spoke with this manager and she was still unable to help me. It was just frustrating because I gave everything except my social security number. I just left the review because my food did not come out as I wanted and having to go back and it was not worth paying that price for a high-end restaurant to get that type of service. And it was very aggravating that another manager Felicia calls me saying she wants to help and she believes what I'm telling her but nothing came out of of a day's conversation. I just feel the response to my review is just to make customers think your issues are being taken care of and instead it's an interrogation or they suddenly can't find your information. Very disappointing and will not return to...
Read moreThe Baybrook location is not it. No parking. So much other chaos and mall goers around it ruins the ambiance of a nice dressy date night.
We asked for main dinning but were sat in the bar where they obviously put the outcast and we were dressed very nice. We were first sat next to a screaming baby at one table and a rambunctious toddler at another. I was ready to leave but they offered us a bar high top over in the corner by the bar away from the kids. When I went to get up in the booth I was leaning in the table for support and it almost completely fell on me, my husband had to grab it real fast. Those tables are not stable enough.
Our server was not very attentive and gone often. I’m glad the kitchen brings the food when it’s ready so we got it hot, the kitchen staff were great! The bread guy needs a raise, he is bringing bread out so fast for each table and it’s piping hot, he was great!
The food is phenomenal. We got the Houston Restaurants Weeks menu.
Husband Onion soup - he said the best of anywhere in the area, he gets that everywhere so he would know. I thought it was good.
Pork chop - it’s famous for a reason, it’s amazing, tender, large, delicious.
Chocolate crunch dessert - it’s interesting, kind of meh
Mine Wedge salad - phenomenal! Super cold and crunchy lettuce. A delicious buttermilk dressing (kind of tasted like miracle whip with herbs), mild blue cheese, very few halved grape tomatoes and only one bacon slice. The bacon slice was decorative but I would have rather had more bacon even if it was crumbled on top.l because you need some bacon in each bite with that blue cheese and lettuce for texture and flavor. I was told by our waitress they sell the dressing for like $9 a pint, we didn’t fact check that.
Filet - not cooked to medium well as requested, they asked me to cut it when it was served and took it right back to cook more, kind of annoying for a steak house to not cook it right. The steak was returned to me and cooked closer to my request but still a little undone but I decide to eat as much of it as I could that was fine so my husband wouldn’t get bored waiting on me. The super hot cast iron plate the steak is served on actually cooked my cut up pieces and when I saw this I turned them on it until it was how I liked. The garlic butter on the cast iron skillet was delicious. The steak once cooked a tad more was so incredible. The asparagus was ok, nothing fancy. The crab on top of the steak was light, sweet, and delicious.
Orange cheesecake - this is delicious! The cheesecake filling is so creamy and smooth with a lot of cream cheese flavor. The crust is so buttery and good. The orange topping is a fresh pop of citrus flavor and is very good, refreshing after the meal but...
Read moreFriendswood location: Well where do I start? I arrived at Perry's during lunch time which was super busy!! There was a waiting line out the door. I came up to the host stand where I was informed there's a wait but the bar is first come first serve. I'm like "cool, let me see if I can find a seat. There was two empty total.. one empty seat towards the end/ back of the bar next to a young lady. I asked was the seat taken in which she replied yes my friend will be here in a second. I said cool. The other empyty chair had a plate in front of it so i assumed someone may have stepped to the bathroom. I went back to the front to wait. A few moments later a guy finished his food, paid and left. Naturally I went to sit down at one of the empty spots. I sat where the empty plate was at since at least 10 minutes had passed and deduced the guy must have been alone. At that time the bar tendor (Dylan.. Dillion...not sure which spelling is correct) informed me he was saving that spot for a friend. My reply was simple .. I said "excuse me, I was told these seats are first come first serve... is that not the case?" He replied yes, but he told her he would save the seats if they became available... while I was contemplating having a "when keeping it real goes wrong moment" a couple next to me said "please, take our seats we're finished and you don't have to be subject to standing waiting on another seat since he's SAVING those". I said thank you and sat down. A few seconds later the young lady who already had a seat plus saving one for her friend at the end of the bar walks to the front of the bar to sit... I'm like wait...dude you were saving seats for people who already had seats during the busiest time of the day with a line out the door??? C'MON MAAANNN!! To make matters worst I asked him for a menu that never came. N/E way the other bar tender, Angie, was very polite and attentive. She was the only one who cared to take my drink order or give me a food menu. Angie was the 5- star. Without her the service sucked! The food however was great. I had the pork chop which is why went there to begin with since one of my co-workers spoke highly of it!! And before you guys give Dylan/ Dillion an out and say maybe that wasn't his area of the bar... the young lady who he saved seats for was right next to me and he attended to her and her friends every need... IJS.... Character matters!! He turned what would've been an awesome experience into one that made me contemplate spending my...
