Enjoyed the combo Pho, really good flavor and plenty of noodles. EXTREMELY disappointed with the waitress. No greeting, didnt speak to welcome me, serve me or thank me for coming in as I paid. Didnt even bother to look at me.
I was further aggravated when I realized she charged me for a extra large bowl, I pointed out the price (that I pointed to) and she pointed to some small print. $13 as opposed to the $9, I was expecting to pay. It was ez not to get stuck on that point because the soup was good & plentiful.
Train your wait staff, to be respectful and polite, to everyone. I don't believe it is to much to expect a simple "hello, is everthing ok and thank you for coming" is to much to expect .
I try not to ever let an employee deter me from returning at least once more. Take care of the rude waitresses and I think you have a...
Read morePho Queue? I haven't actually eaten here. I tried... but after watching my colleagues nearly finish their bun mit (sandwiches) -- having waited over thirty minutes -- I flagged-down a waiter (Kim?) and cancelled my order. My colleagues commented that the bread wasn't so great (nor was it terrible) and that there was barely any meat. The service... well, there appeared to be two people working the floor... and this just wasn't enough. I was also a little put-off by the plate of bean sprouts (looked brownish/old) and cilantro (two small sprigs; no basil was included). The tables lack nuoc mam (fish sauce). I will not return. The only positive thing I can say is that it was clean. Had I paid $11 for a large bowl of pho ($9 for regular size), I would have expected it to be fairly good (in Montrose, a bowl of pho...
Read moreI used to live on Park Row when these guys opened up in 2015 after they moved from the 290 area. So I’m pretty familiar with the food here and it is consistently delicious. The service is always good. The combination pho is always on point, as well as the sandwiches. This time I tried the Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Noodle Soup w/ Beef) which was so good. If you like spicy food you’ll enjoy this dish. This place is usually packed during the week during lunch hours because it’s right in the energy corridor. So if you want to beat the rush head in during dinner and you’ll find a very quiet and welcoming vibe. I was 1 of 2 tables that were there when I went recently. I got to slurp my noodles without a bunch of people looking at me crazy. Lol I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some good...
