I want to start by saying that if I could give this establishment zero stars, I absolutely would. On August 7, 2024, I arrived at the Houston Airport, eager to find a hotel. The pictures of this one looked appealing, so I called to ask a few questions and make sure there were no issues. The young gentleman who answered assured me that everything was in perfect condition. He mentioned the continental breakfast and all the amenities. Little did I know, this was about to turn into a nightmare.||||I arrived at the hotel on August 8, after attending to business at the convention center. Upon arrival, I was informed that none of the water in the hotel was working. Unfortunately, since all other hotels were fully booked, we reluctantly decided to stay. As soon as I entered the room, I was appalled to find that while the bed was made, the microwave was filthy, and the room reeked of drugs.||||Disturbed by the state of the room, I went down to the front desk to voice my concerns. On my way, I encountered an associate who was busy looking for a room for another guest. My first question was, "How is the pool water being filtered if there's no running water in the hotel?" He casually replied that while there was water in the pool, he never claimed it was clean. This level of unsanitary conditions and unprofessionalism was shocking.||||After asking him a few more questions, I returned to my room, only to find water on the floor. It was clear that the water had been there before I spoke to him, and he had seen it but chose not to clean it up until I pointed out that someone could sue or that he could get in serious trouble for leaving so much water on the elevator floor.||||To make matters worse, the two women I was with informed me that after I left the room, the associate had entered uninvited. Rather than searching for a room for another guest as he claimed, he was snooping around in our room without permission. I am utterly flabbergasted and appalled that any establishment would handle situations like this.||||As for the breakfast and other accommodations that were supposed to be available—they were nonexistent. I was told that while they were "supposed to" make breakfast, they don't. If I wanted breakfast, they only had a waffle maker available, leaving me to fend for myself.||||I have filed a full police report and am seriously considering taking legal action. I do not recommend this hotel at all. No one should stay here, and no one should even think about booking a room. They refuse to refund your money and won't return your deposit, even if you pay in cash.||||To top it all off, on August 8, 2024, they ended up kicking everyone out because the water wasn't working—something they should have addressed beforehand. They should never have allowed guests to check in knowing these issues existed. Unfortunately, I left a pair of shoes in the room, and when I called, the young lady at the counter told me they had placed them at the front desk for me to pick up. However, when I returned the next day at the appointed time, the lights were off, no one was there, and all calls went unanswered.||||To make matters even worse, when I had called earlier, the same young lady mentioned that someone had gone into my room to collect all my belongings because she thought they were with me. I quickly informed her that I wasn't with any other guys. She then put me on hold for 30 minutes and returned with a confusing and unsettling explanation, admitting that she might have mixed up my room with someone else’s. I’m left unsure if someone entered my room without my permission or if she genuinely made a mistake.||||This whole experience has been beyond unsettling, and I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to...

Read moreI booked this hotel at 8.30am, the morning of our stay. We arrived at 9.30pm after a three hour drive to be told that there were no rooms available. The 'girl' behind the desk seemed more interested in her Raisin Cane's take-out than anything else, but offered to call other local hotels in the group me give me a refund.
The second hotel said they had a room available which was 35mins away and due to the time and being tired I agreed to go there.
I was given a printed copy of our check-in registration and told to give it to the other hotel staff upon arrival.
We arrived at the second hotel 35mins later, by this time it was almost 10.30pm. When I explained the above I was told they had no idea we were coming and that they had no rooms available. They tried to call the first hotel numerous times to clarify but nobody was picking up. They eventually said they could give me a room already booked out and they would have to decline the other guest if they arrived. They said the TV didn't work but by this point I couldn't care less about watching TV so took the room.
We got to the room which is best described as tired. Burns and stains on the carpet, marks and scuffs on the walls, holes in the shower curtain, etc.
Inside the room there was the standard one-cup coffee percolator but no coffee, nor were there any toiletries. I headed back to reception only to be told that they did not supply coffee or toiletries anymore.
Really ???
The staff at reception were being bombarded by displeased guest after displeased guest, it was carnage.
The beds were comfy and clean so we cut our losses and went to sleep.
In the morning we met the other room guest in the bathroom, a baby cockroach. Having looked a previous reviews it seems the hotel is infested with them but to be fair we only saw one.
We didn't even consider haing breakfast there, choosing to get the hell out of there and going to a local Denny's.
Avoid this hotel/chain like the plague,...
