I wanted to take a moment to highlight the poor customer service I received at this location. Particularly the evening of March 13th, I visited and paid $20 for a 12 piece. The woman who took my order (a woman who gave the name Leslie and said she was the manager) was EXTREMELY unpleasant and condescending. While placing my order via drive-thru, I told her I wanted a “strawberry” lemonade, she then proceed to ask “frozen or chilled”. Keep in mind, I don’t frequent Popeyes often and those 2 terms are synonymous to me, so I said that I wanted a “regular, non slushy like lemonade”. She again asked if I wanted “regular”, and as I had just stated, I agreed. When I get to the window, she provided me a basic yellow lemonade and I was confused. I told her I asked for strawberry lemonade, and meant that I wanted the consistency to be “regular” and not slushy like. She THOUGHT I was referring to the flavor, cool. Clearly there was a miscommunication, we heard the same thing but the interpretation was different, cool. I asked her to please remake (which anyone with basic customer service skills would’ve done anyway), but she said I had to pay 70 cents. This restaurant must clearly be a franchise bc they nickel and dime you for everything as is, but why on earth would I pay extra for a drink that comes with the meal and there was a MISCOMMUNICATION? I told her it doesn’t make sense to me to pay for a new drink, and she kept insisting that she asked if I wanted a regular and I said yes, which WAS the case, but she didn’t care about the clear miscommunication, she just wanted to be right. I explained to her what my interpretation of “regular” was, but clearly she’s a tyrant who wanted 70 cents. I’ve never experienced anything like that in any business. I could see if I was actually at fault or changed my mind maybe, but that wasn’t the case. Mind you, I seen an employee helping themselves to drinks this entire encounter (which is fair to them), but makes it worse that she couldn’t simply remake mine. At that point, I told her to keep the drink all together and she happily agreed and gave me my food. $20 for a warm 12 piece, no beverage + however much I paid for the dipping sauces. For this price and experience, I wish I had just gone to Wingstop across the street. It’s sad that people like Leslie are in the position to provide such poor experiences for people bc they don’t know the basics of customer service or how to do right by patrons. Simply remaking the drink would have avoided a poor experience, all of the back and forth, and me having to go out my way to write this review. I will never visit this location again and I hope someone at Popeyes can contact me for me additional insight. I didn’t get a survey on my receipt, they had to use to printer since the register...
Read moreI was in this store around 8.20 pm and The great employee ‘Leslie’ have not answered drive through speaker. When I came to the window, I saw she noticed me but apparently talking. There was no one ahead or behind me, so I don’t know where she was talking, and after half a minute as I honked, she open the window and as I start talking about the order, she told ‘Wait a minute’ and slam the window on me and keep talking. After around 4 minutes, she open the window and I told’ no one is attending the drive through…’ she rudely asked: what you need? As I told I need the 10 piece deal, she answered: ‘I don’t know what is that’. As I explained what should on the deal and the price, then she understood and told me: for spicy, it would be a long wait’. I told ok, and told that I wanted to upgrade the wings with breast… she told its not possible. I showed her a coupon, she told.. ‘I can’t do that’ and slam the window on me. I was sitting there like a stupid! After couple of minutes she again came on the window, and asked me what I need? I told I want my order or 10 pc family deal and she again replied, it will be a long wait for the spicy chicken. I told about the upgrade again, and she told its not possible to do any change. I told almost every week I am buying the same thing from this store and I was upgrading with extra payment and I want to do the same today. She again very arrogantly answered: ‘no change possible’ and as I told other associates were doing the upgrade for extra charge, she told “they are all wrong”. As I looked at her name tag, she boldly displayed the tag to me and shouted” this is Leslie”. I met the most arrogant server ever, she probably was leaving the job or some issue, but it was a real offensive service experience I received. This store earlier served greasy foods, burnt foods and once they didn’t serve me part of my order, upon nitrifying that they asked me to wait as I was dining in and after around 45 minutes of wait, I had to cancel the portion they haven’t served and they never felt to say ‘sorry’ for the situation. I met new employees every time I visit this store, and none was polite. I repeatedly visit this store despite bad experience, since this store is very nearby and convenient for me, the other nearby Popeyes is around 15 minutes away. I know the owner will also not care about this comment as this is my third attempt to comment, my previous 2 comments was through Popeyes website and...
Read moreOrdered dinner for family through the Popeyes app for this location. Once I arrived told them my order number, and they still asked my order?! Anyway, made my order, which the time is 10-15 mins before closing (10pm), I placed order about 9:25pm/9:30pm. I asked the cashier “is my food fresh”, she stated “yes”. Which I was going to check because there is always an issue at this location, plus she tied the bag handles in a knot, rarely ever she this. My food was so old and cold. Now, even if I waited 20-25 mins before I picked up my food, my food still should have been hot, and or had a fresh taste. I have video of my entire order. I asked to speak to Manager, another lady says the Manager. I’ve ran several locations in the past, none of the staff had on proper Manger uniform. Also the lady who claimed she was the Manager, and the rest of the staff, SPOKE LITTLE TO NO ENGLISH AT ALL! She took my food, and told me “TO LATE, NO MAKE”. Again it’s still about 10 minutes to closing. I can see of course the entire staff of ladies is trying to clean up and leave ASAP. As long as the so called Manager went back and forth, I could have had my family and I food. At this point, she closed the drive thru window, and has my food. I’m at the window, knocking, and waving, because she has not told me if she is going to remake my food or give me a refund. She’s on the phone the entire time, ignoring me. I finally pull around to parking spaces, after about 25-35 minutes, to try and find food for my family. Then the POLICE shows up, which the lady called, very professional officers, told them the situation and what was going on. Officers also could not understand anything the “Manager” said as saying. Called the police, had them waste their time, and she could have simply said, we will issue a refund. Next day, my wife went to speak with another Manager, who we believed to be the GM. Not only did she tell my wife, nothing she could do, but refused to give us food, and a higher up contact info. She location should of been shut down along time ago, this owner of this location makes the entire Popeyes Corporation look terrible. Hopefully someone for corporate reaches out, as we have been. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR ENERGY AT...
