Ive come here for years to eat their food. Yes, the food is delicious, but recently, I had placed two seperate orders. In the 1st order, i ordered pupusas and chicharron con casamiento, and we finished the pupusas before the other plate came and ordered more pupusas. It was its usual busy, but it does not excuse the fact that the chicharron con casamiento took about 40 minutes to come out, as it is not our first time ordering it and never taken as long. We tell the workers and they tell us the pork is frying. Not to mention that someone who ordered after us got the same plate and STILL finished and left before we even got aforementioned plate.
And, usually they take orders through phone. Twice, I have called multiple times within the span of 30 minutes and the line "is busy" or they don't answer. Nothing special about the sour cream and beans, but the cheese was excellent. It was one of those crumbly cheeses that is not salty but a bit mushy. I asked for sausage and got some fried hot dog🙄. Overall good enough experience to return. A little side not, as we dine it got super busy, line out the door. 8:30am...
Read moreI don't understand how this place received so many rave reviews..I tried yesterday for the first time and I couldn't believe it..The pupusas were very cheaply made, dry,,no grease or oil, barely any filling or cheese, and filling and cheese is very bland NO FLAVOR..It was like the pupusas you buy from the freezer section in grocery store.I guess that's why it's so cheap to eat here ...This place fails in comparison to El Pupusodromo on Bissonnet..I swear I'm not trying to hurt these people business but I feel ripped off...They are over hyped.Anyone who thinks here is the best u haven't eaten real pious as.The staff here is very nice but I will never return to...
