Edited to add: The owner Michael called my husband to discuss the review. Instead of offering to make anything right he acted like an absolute child. Accused us of attempting to destroy his business with this honest review. That the review was personal and it should have been at least 3 stars. It is not personal. Everything I wrote was exactly as it happened. We don’t know this person and were actually quite excited to have some kosher Israeli food. Absolutely shameful behavior. Do better.
We hadn’t seen my Father and Step Mother in years and they excitedly chose Prime Grill as it’s kosher and my husband is Israeli. What a disaster from start to finish.
We ordered Shawarma, Shnitzel, Lamb Kabob and a Burger. None of it was good. The shawarma was an absolute shame. Bland, no spices or flavor at all. Having eaten it in Israel and it being a staple cooked often at home-this was NOT IT. My fathers “lamb kabob” was cold flavorless lumps of ground lamb. The Israeli salad was almost all cucumber with a piece of 2 of tomato and a chunk of lemon. My Step Mother ordered a side of steamed vegetables and it was literally 5 small pieces of veggies on a skewer thrown on a fancy plate. Bad bad bad. An offense to authentic Mediterranean cuisine. All of it was served cold except the shnitzel.
When you factor in the fact that these meals are priced HIGH for what you get and they are trying to pass the meals off as some high end dining experience….it makes it much worse.
That being said the worst part was that we had to remind the staff at LEAST 10 times what we’d ordered. We’d tell them, they’d bring a few plates, then we’d have to ask again and again. All while cold food sat there. I could not bear to eat the so called shawarma without tahini and I waited 10 minutes to get that and they were NOT busy.
Instead of comping some of our meals they brought us out 4 tiny little falafel balls. I will say that they were the only tasty food we had tonight. If I’d been paying I would have fought to remove some as it was a complete disaster. Would...

I made a 30-minute drive from downtown specifically to support what I thought would be a great local Jewish-owned restaurant, as my girlfriend is a practicing Jew and wanted to see what Houston had to offer for Kosher restaurants. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply underwhelming from both a service and food standpoint.
We were greeted, then left to seat ourselves, which was fine, but our server left entirely in the middle of dinner service without saying a word to us. No explanation. Just gone. That's fine if her shift ended, but we were left to flag down a busser and food runner to get the onion rings that they forgot to bring out and then our check at the end.
Food quality was similarly frustrating. My fries came out fast but were stone cold, clearly sitting in the back for a while. The beef cigars? Genuinely tragic. I’m not even sure how else to describe them. If you’re curious, go try them yourself.
Despite being told they had kebab, I was told I couldn’t order the kebab platter, but I could order the kebab sandwich. That logic still escapes me. The hummus was average. The burger tasted like a generic frozen patty, though it was passable overall. The fixings did seem to be fresh and the veggies were crunchy.
We spent almost exactly $100 for 2 people (including a 20% tip) but honestly, I would’ve felt the same level of disappointment if I’d spent $30. Maybe this was just an off night, but between the food and the service, there’s no way I’d return...
Read morePlease update the latest order time for Uber Eats accurately so customers know when is the latest you can receive an order. If a small order is placed at 8:12 PM on Uber Eats, it should be canceled or addressed promptly rather than waiting until 9 PM to cancel. Given the limited number of kosher restaurants in the area, consideration for customers would be appreciated.
Update to Response: I appreciate the response, but I want to clarify what actually happened. Uber Eats emailed me at 8:57 PM stating that the restaurant could not fulfill my order and had canceled it. This directly contradicts the claim that a courier picked up my order at 8:32 PM. If my order had been picked up, Uber Eats would not have canceled it due to the restaurant being unable to fulfill it. I am sharing the Uber Eats email screenshot here for transparency.
That being said, your food is great, the restaurant is great, the staff is always kind and I was genuinely looking forward to my order before the upcoming fast. However, taking ownership of what happened and addressing concerns professionally would go a long way in making customers want to return. Instead of dismissing the issue, a simple acknowledgment and effort to clarify the latest ordering time during the week would have been much more appreciated. Good customer service strengthens customer loyalty, and I hope this feedback helps improve future...
