NEW DELIVERY FEE OF $4.25 ON ORDERS MANDATED BY RUSSO'S CORPORATE GREED. This increased the price of my usual order by 20%. Highly doubt that is going to the guy who was delivering my pizzas in Meyerland. ------- I ordered the 16" square Mulberry on 15th December 2023 (order #63 from that day if you're looking at this, Russo's). This is my usual order when I'm busy in my workshop and don't want to stop a good work pace to cook a meal. I've been ordering delivery from the Beechnut location for years. The pizza tasted ... weird. The crust was soggy, but that's par for the course from this location. Usually this is remedied by popping the pizza in the oven to, you know, complete the whole process of cooking that it did not at the restaurant. But neither the crust nor the sauce tasted right, and tons of ranch and crushed red pepper did nothing to improve the taste. It was almost inedible, and had I been served this in the restaurant I would've just demanded a refund after a few bites and left to eat elsewhere. Sitting overnight in the fridge didn't do anything to improve the taste, and it tasted just as bad when reheated and having had the crust cooked completely. After years of being a customer, I most likely will not order from this location again. The only reason I'm likely to order from Russo's again is that this last order put me over the Toast rewards points needed to get $8 off. Maybe after that I'll give one of the other pizza chains a chance with their pizza dough made offsite ... but at least consistent in quality. Gonna give Papa John's or Domino's a chance now -- that's how far you've fallen, Russo's. TLDR -- Just an absolutely abysmal and nearly inedible pizza, and my experience has been that they've been getting worse at this location for a few years as each order has been more disappointing than the previous one.

My wife picked up a calzone, a salad and garlic cheese bread and brought it home. The doppio pepperoni calzone only rated 3 stars for me, not much in the way of filling. My wife loved her Tuscan salad with chicken added, her, me and one grandbaby gave the garlic cheese bread 5 stars. The people working here were very helpful and nice. I wouldn't do this same calzone again but i might return for a pie. This was our first visit to eat in and it was much better. Vanessa was our server and she took good care of us. My wife enjoyed Eggplant Parmigian with foccacia bread and spaghetti. I went with the gigantic slice of pizza with a choice of salad, i chose the Hawaiian for a change of pace and a Greek salad. The slice was history but my wife had a lot of leftovers she'll enjoy.

first time in real pizzeria restaurant in usa. I of course tried a pizza. there is clearly a difference of quality with the usual chains. it is on the expensive side but the dough is well made and being baked in a pizza oven makes it way better. crispy on the outside and soft inside. so good i even enjoyed eating the crust. the dinind area is very clean, the atmosphere is cosy and intimate, the brick wall design gives a old days restaurant look. the service is top notch, from the ordering to the step out of the restaurant. not too much like harassment or not too little like we feel we bother the staff. i will definitely come back to taste the other items from the menu, keep it up guys

I've been a regular at New York Pizzeria, ordering 2-3 times a month, but my latest visit might just be my last. We usually opt for takeout, but this time, my wife and I decided to dine in. I used the Toast app for quick pickup and was impressed by how swiftly they prepared our order – it was ready in about 8-10 minutes, a real plus in my book.

However, things took a turn for the worse when we arrived. We wanted to enjoy our meal at the restaurant before heading to HEB across the street. The front staff, whose name I didn't catch, initially told us we could sit and eat. But then, she changed her tone and in front of another customer, said she'd "let us sit and eat this one time," because apparently, to-go orders aren't allowed to be eaten on the premises due to the place being "too busy." We didn’t like what she told us on this and decided to not eat and drove back home to eat.

This was baffling, considering the restaurant was nearly empty, with only about 12 people in total. Claiming the place was too busy felt like a flimsy excuse, especially given the visible emptiness of the establishment. The way this policy was communicated, with such unnecessary rudeness and inaccuracy, was completely off-putting. It's disappointing to receive this kind of treatment, especially as a regular customer. Sadly, this experience has left a sour taste, and I'm reconsidering my patronage of this establishment. Good customer service is crucial, and on this occasion, it was...

Love their pizza, but unfortunately this location has decided to selectively deliver to my house. I tried to place a delivery order last night, as I assume most Americans do during Monday night football, and unfortunately was called by who I assume was the manager telling me that they decided that they weren't going to bring me any pizza that day. Their own app tells me that I live 2.6 miles from this location. Google says 2.7. It's a 10 minute drive, I've done it many times. The actual conversation:

Russo's: "We only have 1 driver tonight, and while we like to try to help you out when we can, we have a 3 mile radius on delivery".

Me: "Well you already decided you aren't going to deliver to me so I'm sure there is nothing else I can say, but I believe I'm less than 3 miles away".

Russo's: "Yeah, rules and regulations, you know, but you can still come and pick it up".

So Russo's decides to short staff the delivery guys on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, and then decides to state "rules and regulations" as the reason they won't "help me out" by me being a customer.

Sorry Russo's, good pizza but I guess I'll have to find another pizza shop who doesn't have to do me any favors by allowing me to be a customer and abides by their own...
