I personally liked my food, I got the bowl 🥣 with a bunch of goodness and saucey-ness in it. The portion sizes are amazing. BUT I ordered a pita bread, was charged $1.50 and when I got home... it wasn't in the bag. Not worth going back for just that, but its not cool to be charged at the register for something she didn't give me. I understand its easy to forget things, but how much money have they kept from not giving people everything they ordered?

My husband got a falafel wrap and they stuff it with so much stuff and sauce that it gets mushy and falls apart in your hands making it super we difficult to eat like a normal falafel wrap. On one hand, its good that the portion sizes are pretty big. But my hubby wasn't a fan of his wrap halfway through eating it because it had fallen apart and he basically had to eat the rest of it with a fork. And soggy pita is not it.

The vibe inside feels like its not a place to sit and eat. Its huge with a ton of empty space, they probably get a ton of togo orders so I get it.

Not sure if I can convince hubby to go back.. this might be one of those places I have to...

New and only TX outpost of a popular NYC-style gyro shop serving up tasty and hefty platters, wrap, and burgers at a great value. There's been a wave of these kinds of shops moving into HTX, and this one serves up a great platter with standout fresh ingredients.

Vibe: very casual with ample seating. Service was good and fast.

Food: Ordered a combo platter of chicken and lamb over rice with salad, beans, grilled onions, white sauce, and red sauce and took it to go. Ate it about 25 minutes later. Marinated chicken was tender, flavorful, and cut into thick chunks - one of my favorite versions of this in a halal platter. Lamb gyro is also served diced into thick chunks and tasted good. The salad stood out as very fresh which I enjoyed a lot. White sauce is pretty mild and doesn't stand out, red sauce gives a nice kick. I regret not adding the green sauce (like a cilantro lime flavor) as I feel like it would have completed the white sauce nicely and tied it together better. Rice was pretty plain and a little too watery for...

Very overrated food establishment. Food is of poor quality, gyro is super dry. Chicken was okay. Vegetables were dry and looked to be old, as they were soggy. Whatever food it is, it is not gyro. Do not order the falafel , very dry and they burned it. The Rice has Indian spices in it, might be someone’s favorite but definitely not for people who love gyro. If your establishment is serving GYRO, that means you take pride in your food, you cannot serve gyro the “indian” way if it originated in Greece. Very rude lady at the front of the store, I asked if they had the special and she rolled her eyes, filled up most of the plate with rice, and a small amount of meat. She was ready to splash the sauce on my plate without even asking, had to decline. Some of us don’t like the sauces. Sucks customer service. Better food than customer service, and even that...
