This morning I wanted to take my friend who just had recently had surgery in his mouth and couldn't eat any solid foods. He had never tried a smoothie before and being that I love Smoothie King so much I offered to take him to Get a smoothie in Meyerland. When we walked in it was only one car in the drive thru and no one inside. We were greeted, but since it was his first time he needed time to look over the menu and asking me questions on the different add ons and etc. It was two people in there at the time working behind the counter and neither of them asked if we needed help with the menu, have we been here before, or anything. But it's okay because luckily I been to smoothie king before and I knew some of the questions he had to ask. When he decided we got to the counter and none of them approached us. I asked for assistance by letting them know I was ready, she said give her a moment while completing a drive thru order. She took his order asked for his name and we paid. We waiting for the drink to be done and it was just sat on the counter. She didn't call his name or let us know the drink was ready. If I wasn't paying attention the drink would've just say there. Then why even ask him his name but then not call out his drink when she sat in down? When I asked her was the drink ours, the lady said something but I couldn't really hear her. Mind you the blender was going so I couldn't hear and asked her again was the drink his because I couldn't hear her. She loudly yelled at me as if I was annoying her. Then said she couldn't hear me when I asked for a spoon because the blender was going. She told me no they didn't carry any spoons and also said that she couldn't hear me because of the blender. But it was a mutual because I couldn't hear her but I wasn't aggressive or annoyed like she was towards us. Unnecessarily rude, I felt bad because I brought my friend to place where he felt he wasn't appreciated or shown any good customer service. And since my friend and I both have jobs in customer service I think we know how to treat customers especially new ones. He had to tell me he didn't even want the smoothie anymore and would never return. Which sucks because I know and have had better experiences with SK at many locations. I am disappointed for this way to start our day and just won't be returning to...
Read moreDon’t waste your time nor money going to this location....and this is coming from someone who would go there 4 to 5 times a week. The more I went, the more I noticed the service here was getting horrible. Today I initially pulled up to the drive thru and quickly noticed the 5 cars in front of me were sitting ducks so instead of sitting in line I decided to go inside. To my surprise there were no customers in there😒. I ordered a S Island Impact with strawberries....nothing too fancy right? WRONG!!!...when they called my name they handed me a yellow looking smoothie. As I stated before, I come here often so I know exactly how the smoothies I typically order, (which is usually 3), should look & taste. I told them the order was wrong and instead of blending me a proper NEW smoothie, the manger on duty by the name of Rachel took the top off, threw a few strawberries into it, and tried to give it to me like that. Insulted is an understatement. Instead of arguing, I immediately stated I wanted a refund. She then lied to my face stating they only gave store credit back when the store’s refund policy was right in my face that stated 🗣WE HONOR ALL CREDIT CARDS. These other reviews are stating facts. The staff here are lazy and it amplifies on the weekends. Thank god I was too hungry to argue because the way they pissed me off the situation could have definitely escalated. My money will NOT be given to Smoothie...
Read moreI don’t normally write negative reviews but this was wild to me. I waited in the drive thru line for at least 15 minutes (ok they were busy no problem) but the young man at the window was SO RUDE. He did not say one word to me. No exaggeration. I said hello! And he reached his hand out to take my card and shut the window. He opened it again and handed it back to me with my receipt without a single word closing the window again. As you can guess.. he silently handed me my smoothie as I’m like thank you so much!! Not one word, not one smile. There’s really no excuse, busy or not to act like that. It’s weird to not respond to someone at all when you work in customer service. I wasn’t trying to have some long convo, but as a paying customer you could at least pretend to be a little friendly. Personally won’t be going back to this location, there’s plenty of others around that don’t treat you...
