I attended with approximately 20 seniors from a city's senior center. Upon arrival, everyone in my group was provided with a menu except me. Unable to access the menu online on my phone due to technical difficulties, I politely asked to borrow a menu from the two ladies at my table once they were finished. Both refused. When I asked a man, whom I believe to be the manager, for a menu, he loudly proclaimed the restaurant had run out of menus and that I would have to share. I explained that no one was willing to share with me, yet no solution was offered. The situation deteriorated further when the manager ignored my needs and focused solely on others in the group. Although a waiter apologized to the two women for the lack of menus, the ones who at first and for sometime refused to share their menu with me once they had picked out their food, no apology was extended to me--the one that had no menu. Moreover, both another man in our group, and I, had to wait for our food long after all the others in our party were served. The manager apologized to that man and provided an estimated wait time, but I received no such courtesy. When that man was served, the manager said that everyone is served now. I had not been served. So, I told the manager that and he incorrectly asserted out loud as if to cover himself with a false remark that I had ordered it to go. Despite my correction that I had ordered it to eat here, no apology was given. I was the las person to be served. Additionally, my repeated requests for water were met with dismissive and rude responses from the manager, who ultimately filled my glass with clear irritation. Throughout the entire visit, I was made to feel as though I had no right to basic customer service, such as receiving a menu, being served in a timely manner, and having access to water. The lack of apology and the manager's overall behavior suggest discriminatory treatment, although the reason remains unclear to me. As far as the group I was with, there recently was an incident of significant discrimination against me for being physically disabled and that may be the same reason the manager was so rude to me. The same can be said for the two members our our group, who sat at the same table with me. But I don't know for sure. The waiter who apologized to the two ladies at my table who were given menus, for the restaurant running out of menus but did not apologize to me, the one not given a menu, was nice another way. I remained nice and courteous despite all this and when I asked that waiter about their merchandise he brought a small item. I asked how much it was and he said there was no charge. So that was nice. The Italian margaritas are good and I enjoyed walking around and looking at the...
Read moreEvery restaurant I’ve ever decided to dine in at during this pandemic the staff/waitresses have always been wearing mask. Having underlining health conditions this as you can imagine is a huge issue walking into a restaurant witnessing the staff not caring enough to wear mask when this delta variant in Harris county is at half a million cases! That’s practically 1 in every 3 people in the Houston area are infected and they are needing to be asked to have the waitress please wear a mask when serving my food. Then I end up waiting almost a whole hour to get our pizza which I feel was done deliberately since asking the manager to ask the waitress to wear a mask. I still left a good tip for the waitress in the case the waitress just accidentally forgot to plug the order into the system which the manager said could have been the case. Either way although the food was good it was not worth the wait or worth the risk walking into during this outrageous time period with cases spreading at a extreme rate. Any member of that staff whose coming in contact with customers can easily become infected and there for infect another customer this is not responsible by the manger. I don’t care about having a pizza be given free I much rather pay for my meal and have gotten the order in a timely manner as well as feeling safe while dining in which neither happened unfortunately sad to report. The good quality pizza and side salad alongside the delicious breadsticks are the only reasons my family goes in the first place as well as allowing myself to wait as long as we waited outside the scope of 45 minutes but wouldn’t do it again...
Read moreFirst timer and it’s a cute spot! The food could use some work, maybe seasonings and cooking time but overall such a good experience.
We had Greg as our server and he was the best. Very attentive and didn’t seem to be bothered with our questions/requests.
We started off with some drank which for beer prices, really good and didn’t taste flat like most people’s I get draft from.
The appetizers we chose were the potato skins and wings. The potato skins were super fresh when we got them however I’m more of a less is better type of gal when it comes to these sides, still good but didn’t care for the chicken or sour cream. My boyfriend did however enjoy the chicken. The wings were also really fresh and the breading was so good. We did ask for hot sauce on the side and they warmed it up which made the flavor taste good x2.
My boyfriend and I shared the Shrimp & Crawfish Alfredo Pasta and a 10” inch pizza. We both agreed the shrimp didn’t taste like it had seasoning and was kind of bland but was fresh and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The pizza i did think it could’ve been cooked a little longer, I don’t care for soft breading on my pizza, not saying I want it burnt but a little crunch never hurt anyone. I will give them this, the sauce was really good that didn’t lack any flavor. The cheese was super cheesy, reminded me of the goofy movie pizza.
Overall this place has potential and the staff they have truly stands out and makes you want to come back. Wouldn’t mind trying different food the next time because I’m sure each dish has its own speciality.
We paid $80 in total for...
