I was there 6 minutes before closing and they didn’t want to take my order. Their window says open until 3AM, 2:54. Extremely unprofessional that they hid, no one came to give me corporate number after I asked. And the only reason they came back to the window was to say “we close at 3” it’s 2:58. I manage a shop myself and Im legally responsible to stay and operate until our closing time. Do I need to reach a lawyer so yall can start following yall own rules. RIDICULOUS. Fire all three of them. Because of them my bridal party of 15 is furious.

The service here is the absolute worst. Employees will not just hand you sauce but dump it in your car. They are short with customers and very impatient. They have terrible attitude when it comes to customers and refuse to take your order at the counter. Food is usually slapped together and portions are always inconsistent. I've also received undercooked food several times. I do understand that this is a Taco Bell and standards are pretty low for Taco Bell, but this place is in need of new management.

Came here at 1am after an ER visit and my chalupa has sour cream on it and my soft potato taco is genuinely pathetic. DO NOT COME HERE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES. The literal first thing on my chalupa was “remove sour cream” but what can you expect when a pink haired teenager asks you to park in front of the door so they have more time to prepare your food then forgets the drinks you ordered with the order they wanted more time to make in the first place.

EDIT: They still hypothetically get pretty much everything exactly right, but the food has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY worse, and the prices are out of control now. This Taco Bell is only 200 yards from Torchy's Tacos. You can go to Torchy's and get EXPONENTIALLY better food, AND MORE food for the same price.

$1.79 for a Crunchy Taco? $5.37 for 3 of them? $7.16 for 4 of them?

Crunchy Tacos were right at about $1 in 2019. Now it's almost DOUBLE that for truly no reason. We're talking about pretty close to the cheapest ingredients they could possibly be using.

It's legitimately like 10 cents worth of ingredients AT MOST. And I'm not even kidding. If you wanted to make Taco Bell Crunchy Taco equivalents yourself at home, you could make 10 for $1, and they'd be SIGNIFICANTLY higher quality. You yourself almost CAN'T make them as low quality as Taco Bell's. So Taco Bell charging nearly 18x what they're worth is PURELY by choice.

A Trailer Park Taco from Torchy's is only $4.99, and it has the bulk of about 3 to 4 Taco Bell Crunchy Tacos. It's also waaaaaaaay fresher, made with waaaaaaaaaay better quality ingredients, and the flavors make Taco Bell look like a complete joke.

I'm trying to think of even a single scenario where Taco Bell can compete with Torchy's in terms of value even IF I ignore the VAST disparity in quality....and I just can't think of anything.

Taco Bell basically has ONE thing left going for them - the fact that they're open late, and they're super fast.

Taco Bell USED TO be good enough and cheap enough to at least make you stop and THINK about which one you wanted to go to, but that was before the pandemic.

Taco Bell doesn't even offer any of their best stuff anymore. Fiery Doritos Locos Taco Supremes, the carne asada Nacho Crunch Grilled Stuft Burrito (from 2005), caramel apple empanadas, enchiritos, chili cheese Frito burritos, etc...

And, hell, when they redid Gessner the didn't put back in the passthrough for the medium, so now it's even SIGNIFICANTLY harder to get to Taco Bell if you're driving north, AND it's significantly harder to LEAVE Taco Bell if you need to drive north. If you do the math on that, that means it's now harder for 75% of people to get to/leave from this Taco Bell. The ONLY people unaffected are those arriving from the north and leaving south. For them and them ALONE Taco Bell happens to be on the right side of the road. Every other combination of arrival and departure directions on Gessner results in the new medium being in the way, and people having to go down the street and U-turn somewhere.

Nowadays there's simply no reason to go to Taco Bell. It's just not worth it. The food quality isn't worth it. The food quantity isn't worth it. The price isn't worth it. The extra navigational hassle isn't worth it.

I feel kinda bad saying that, because I know a lot of that isn't the fault of this individual Taco Bell, but it's just true. 🤷‍♂️

ORIGINAL: This Taco Bell nails it 99.99% of the time, and it's the fastest food there is. They've been super solid for AT LEAST a decade now. It's pretty impressive, for a...

NOT CLEAN AND BAD SERVICE.The manager that worked last night after 11pm , Tuesday 8th, a horrible person. She FIRST WAS ARGUING With her coworker, then she refused to give me her general manager and her own name. She lied and said some one else picked up my door dash order then she looked in her system and said oh it was there. Then she told me to drive out of the drive thru while I wait another 10 minutes for the order to be prepared. Then she came out of the door and told me to go back to the drive thru to pick up my food another wait. I asked her why she didn't just bring the food out since she was on her way out the door to get something out her car.. She said she could not hand me the food although she was WALKING OUT THE DOOR TO HER CAR. She told me she is a manager but helping out the night shift. This lady is horrible and I am reporting this store to EVERY OUTLET. TODAY I CAME IN TO SPEAK TO THR GM and no one even acknowledged me. I even took pictures. If I come back with my CAMERA CREW AND SEE THIS LADY THEN WE WILL HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND...

I have just purchased two party packs, one with 4 crunch tacos with 4 burritos & another one with 12 crunch tacos. After I picked up the orders I found out that they put 6 crunch & 6 soft tacos when it should have been 12 crunch tacos in one of the party pack. I called and told the guy who answered that the order was wrongly packed. He said ( when I asked his name he said “manager” ) he only followed online order instruction. I reviewed online order receipts he gave me & it clearly stated 12 crunch tacos. He asked me to bring the order back & I wasn’t about to do so because it would take me more than 20 minutes & it was not worth the time. So I told him I wasn’t going to bring ‘em. Then he said, instead of apologizing , “then why did you call?”. This is a bad manner especially at the “manager level”. This was the 2nd time they messed up my order at 1223 Gessner location. Hope Taco Bell trains their...
