My recent experience at Tacos Chales left me with mixed feelings. While the flavors of their tacos were commendable, I couldn't help but be frustrated by a significant issue: the lack of updated menu prices. Upon approaching their food truck and checking their website, I was disappointed to find that the prices listed were outdated, leaving me with no clear idea of how much I would be spending. This lack of transparency is unprofessional and can make the ordering process uncomfortable, especially if you're trying to stick to a budget. I believe that any establishment, food truck or otherwise, should make it a priority to keep their menu and prices up to date. It not only fosters trust with customers but also ensures a smoother ordering experience. In this era of instant information, it's crucial to maintain accurate and accessible pricing details. While I appreciate the flavors and quality of the tacos at Tacos Chales, I hope they take this feedback into account and make efforts to rectify the issue by providing customers with the most up-to-date menu and pricing information. It would greatly enhance the overall dining experience and reflect a higher level of professionalism.

Too expensive for what we got, there are cheaper taco trucks nearby who will serve you in less time and with higher quality food. Took way too long even though it wasn't busy at all. Only gave us two salsas for a torta and burrito - and no limones! Extra charge for extra things when they hardly give you anything... At least they put beans in the torta and burrito which is uncommon for this area - unfortunately they skimped on the avocado. It was fine food, but there's better. Pro - you can pay with card!

My favorite place to grab a quick bite to go. They have great tacos (breakfast and street), quesadillas and burritos. I've tried many of the different meat options (fajita, chicken, pastor and barbacoa) and all are good. Pictured is the chorizo/egg and potato/egg breakfast tacos.

I very much enjoyed the fajita and barbacoa plate I bought. The food was served to me hot delicious, and plentiful. The lady that took my order was very nice, she cooked my food quickly. The parking lot in which this food truck is parked is well lit and there is plenty of parking. The package store next to the truck is well lit clean secure, and well organized. They are friendly as well and have the best selection of craft beers in Houston. Occasionally there are homeless bums floating around in the perimeter, not usually a problem, just be aware of them. This place is a great spot to grab a quick bit of hot delishous TexMex food in plentiful quantities at a reasonable price. I will return and recommend...

This truck is right next door to the legendary D&Q Beer Station, so after buying some limited release and super rare beers head over ten feet and have some amazing tacos. I ordered the pastor, barbacoa, and chicharrón. The staff was very friendly. The tacos are a bit small, but they look and taste spectacular. The pastor was bright and flavorful, the chicharrón was squishy and wonderful, and the barbacoa was incredibly rich and delicious. I will be back to have those and more, and I need to try a...
