I wish I could give 0 stars!!!! Where do I begin?! My family and I made a reservation 3 weeks prior to the date we wanted which was 9/29 to watch a football game. It was suggested to do this on busy Sundays to ensure we didn't have to wait and had a secured spot- so this is exactly what we did. Our reservation was for 10 people. We arrived and I immediately noticed there were people sitting in the area where we reserved! The confused hostess says " oh that is because a larger party got here before you" I asked why would anyone be seated in an area that is reserved?? We then asked to speak to the manager Gloria who was inundated with other issues and she stated this has been an ongoing issue at the restaurant on game days and a specific group that comes in trumps all reservations made with them directly. Where they do that at?? How unprofessional and unorganized can you be! Isn't the point of a reservation to SECURE A SPOT? After 30 minutes they finally seat us in a different area. We TRIED to order our food around 12:30 with the waitress Lena and after taking 4 of the 12 orders she said the kitchen was on pause and no more orders could be taken. The manager then came by 30 minutes after that and said Lena shouldn't have told this to us and in fact we could order (SMH) so we proceeded. We also ordered a mimosa tower. Another 20 minutes go by and Lena says they are out of Champagne and only have 1 bottle of Rose' left so if we want that option we needed to " hurry up" and tell her before its gone. We oblige since we really didn't have a choice. SOME of the food came to us in THE THIRD QUARTER OF THE GAME OVER TWO HOURS AFTER WE OREDERD. One person had chicken and waffles and only the chicken came out and finally the waffle an hr later! The Mimosa tower tasted like it had no alcohol in it whatsoever. It was NOT 3 liters as advertised either! Some of my party ended up cancelling their food. How embarrassing to invite someone to a place and service is this horrible! The TV'S kept going out the ENTIRE GAME! Although the food tasted good It does not make up for the HOORIBLE EXPERIENCE we had! The environment was too chaotic and and everyone seemed all over the place with no direction. The owner was running around like a chicken with his head off. I will NEVER EVER return...

I went to the fox trap on opening night and the food was amazing and the service was great. I went last night It was the worst service I've ever had in my life. The girl was a sweetheart but you couldn't find her anywhere. I had to get my own napkins. I had to get my own silverware. They set us next to a booth that was soaked in water. When I told them hey it's flooding next to us they were like oh okay and then send someone else out to clean it but they already knew. So why would you sit us next to a flooded booth. The server bought our food out and didn't know which table to take it to so he waved it around at the table to everybody across from us before bringing it to us. My food was cold AF. I paid $150 for cold ass lamb chops and drinks that took so long to come I forgot we ordered them. Once we mentioned oh automatic gratuity is added to the check 20%? The server sat down and said yes it is but I have to give all of that to the people in the kitchen the bartenders and the people that brings the food so I really don't get that tip. So you added a 20% tip to my bill automatically and then the server who gave us horrible service proceeded to guilt both of us into a higher tip. This place is not far from me and the food was so good the first time I came that this is why I recommended this place to my friends. But if I go back it will definitely be because I will sit at the bar. The dine-in experience and the service is completely horrific. And overpriced considering they don't even check on you and you have to get your own stuff. I even asked her did she add an extra drink because I only got two different kinds of martinis but one showed I ordered it twice 🤔. I even asked about it I definitely feel robbed this morning I served myself and had a good time but I definitely pretty much served myself. I had a good time because of the crowd. I get being busy but I was a waitress for over 18 years. I know good service when I see it. And I'm quick to be lenient. No one should leave an establishment feeling robbed and under serviced. Fight Night at the Fox Trap was an experience nonetheless. Overall the experience was a bit disappointing. I’m unsure if they’re still in their soft opening phase however, everything was disorganized. My husband and I reservation time was set for 9pm, we were not seated until 9:30. The line for tables wrapped the entire host stand area, with one young lady checking in and guiding to tables. After being seated for 25 mins we had not been approached by a server, other tables around us had not been greeted as well ( they had been seated longer). A gentleman (guessing a manager), made rounds to tables and ultimately took our order since no one had greeted us. I ordered a Caesar with salmon and my husband ordered spicy lemon pepper wings as well as two drinks. Drinks from the bar were delivered in a timely manner, however our food took another 30 mins before delivery. Our food was brought out by a food runner ( very evident), who seemed very flustered. When I received my plate I immediately told him my order was wrong I asked for a Caesar salad not rice, he said ok it should be out right after and abruptly walked away. Keep in mind we still did not have an assigned server at this point. About minutes after food drop off, my husband tied to gain the attention of another staff member ( a young lady who served multiple other tables in our area) and expressed the same issue to her that I had with the food runner, she said ok she will get the manager and walked away. Needless to say my salad never came nor did the manager follow up with our table until an hour later , he brushed off the mistake with a simple “oooooh ok my bad, I couldn’t hear you”. As a former restaurant supervisor I was disappointed there was not corrective action or attempt to have a remake when it was on the establishment for the error. The positive note would be the salmon was delicious and the wings were nice size and had good flavor. The few bites of the rice I ate tasted like bland bag minute rice.
