I'm coming up on the end of my lease and I couldn't be happier to leave. While the complex has a nice location for retail and food, the management team changed since I moved in and it is like falling off of a cliff. Google really needs to allow 0 and - stars.
Previously, the manager was Brenda and the assistant was Carla. Wonderful, gregarious people that knew your name and greeted you when they saw you. They had 2 leasing agents, Kim and Luis, and the whole team worked well. Then Kim was replaced with Germarie. Germarie is not friendly and approachable and will often ignore you when you walk by. Then, Brenda and Carla were replaced with Vivienne and Naomi. Naomi has yet to be able to do anything helpful such as help get into your garage, or reprogram your gate clicker and access card. She will take your information down. But she doesnt pass it forward. You have to chase down Luis to get it done. I've never seen Vivienne outside of her office and she has never spoken to me directly. I have, however, received emails from her threatening fines for things she cannot possibly enforce. She wants to manage with fear of reprisal. Add the maintenance team to the list of noticeable drops in levels of service. It took them 6 tries before they even attempted to actually fix and not bandage the leaking from my ceiling. All under the watchful leadership of the new team. Luis got promoted to assistant manager so he is the last remnant of the glorious past, but even he has fallen into the less than helpful category because you have to find him and him alone to get anything done. I imagine he is taxed as a result.
The units are livable. The location is livable. They allow dogs but it is not dog friendly inside of the fence. There are too few grassy areas to walk the dogs and too many people allowed to flout the rules and not pick up after their animals. If you own a dog, you know who the scofflaws are, but there is no method to enforce any rule about leashes and picking up. Just emails threatening fines under the guise of "friendly reminders." There is only one man gate out of the property and it is on the north west side of the property. It is not convenient.
I would not recommend this complex to anyone unless the management team was changed. If you read this review and subsequently run into any of the names I've mentioned, consider yourself warned and informed and any choice beyond that is yours to bear. Make good choices. Caveat emptor. Pay...
Read moreLived here for one year, at the end of my lease term my rent was increased over $205. when I complained to the manager she said it was because my unit was below the market, she said she would split the difference. So my rent would only increase $103 and she would give me 2" blinds as a perk. (I said thanks but no thanks...)
Pros: great location, units are newer and maintenanced well. Some of the staff are a delight to work with (Angell,specifically)....
Cons: Despite pesticides which you are billed $8 a month for you WILL SEE Roaches. ( I call them "Raid" resistant roaches because when you spray them with raid it just pisses them off and they continue on their way) Roaches are constantly in the bathrrom sink, in the toilets and in the bathtub.. I think they come up through the drains especially after it rains.
They nickel and dime you for everything; in order to get a gate remote control to the gate you have to rent one for $5 a month... Silly me I assumed I would get one for free like every other place I have lived.
Additionally they promised me when I moved in that I could paint an accent wall and they would give me the paint to paint it back to the original color when I moved out. Low and & behold its time to move out and they said they do not give out paint but I could get them to paint it for $80.00 a wall.
Garages are really small, I rented a garage for $80.00 a month extra and come to find out the garage was so small my truck wouldnt fit into it.
There are only two garbage areas on the site and they are always overstuffed and unsightly.
Mail box area: you get a ton of Junk mail and they refuse to put a garbage can near the mail boxes.
I think this place is over-priced and you should look at some of the other places before going here..I am postive you will get a better deal somewhere...
Read moreI have been living in these apartments with my family for 2 years now the first year was great and didn’t have any complaints for the most part (except the issue with parking) how ever going on year two. We have had excessive Roaches come to our unit. The pest control is a joke. The leasing management is not helpful at all. And since there has been a new leasing agent added to the roster. The management duties has gotten even more poorly. I didn’t want to write this review at first but atp they have left me no choice. The maintained team I have no issue with and they are very helpful. However. , we continue to see roaches and it’s becoming a problem. The new leasing agent whom replaces the last girl is even more of a problem. Things do not properly get handled as they are suppose to since she has been with management team it’s very sad. Something need to be done about the roach problem and the poor parking and letting just anyone who is not authorized as a tenant at the property park anywhere but visitors parking. They should really start towing cars if they don’t have a tenant sticker on there cars like every other apartment complex. Not to mention I had a package stolen from my front door and management have yet to get back with me about footage of any suspects . This complex went from a 4.8 star to me...
