Probably the best bar in Rice Village for a good drink and late night food🍕

Vibe is somewhere in between classy and fun, you can expect a dim lit atmosphere with centerpiece candles on the tables, a nice little patio and the owl motif throughout the bar.

Service was cool. I ordered a ranch water and was offered salt or Tajin and it was really good… Ok ok fine I had 2 ranch waters and they were fantastic. The lemon drop martinis were good too.

There’s a few different seating areas including a bank safe room with a few seats and shuffle board game in there too.

I have to say my favorite part was the fact that the kitchen was open until 1 AM and they offer a nice variety of pizzas. Note these are not your typical frozen pizzas you would expect from a bar but a step or 2 above that. They’re actually pretty good.

I like the “low-key” vibe of this place. It’s almost easy to miss if you’re not looking for it but makes you feel extra cool once you’re there.

The previous establishment was kelvin arms and was happy to see that the new owners kept the bank vault! The have beer from local Texas breweries and a full bar with food. There’s also daily happy hour (all day?) for draft beers for only $5! Then after 7pm, they have an additional happy hour for specific drinks depending on what day of the week it is. As for food, we shared the pepperoni pizza and was great. Like the other reviewers, it's a thin crust/NY style pizza and had the right amount of toppings with the crust holding its weight. They also have complementary popcorn when you walk pass the bar. We weren't able to go upstairs as it was only 4pm but I heard it opens later in the evening for wine maybe? Don't hold me to it. I can’t believe the experience I had at this place. I am an African American female and the manager and whole environment thought it was OK for one drunk customer to call out the N-word several times with no remorse. All they did was have him go outside on the patio. Also after the situation they wanted to charge me for half of my bill. They did not kick the customer out, but yet patronized me, as if I was the outraged problematic customer. I will never go here again, and I suggest if you are a brown skin Person like me you...
