Rain pattered against the windows, blurring the neon glow of the new Tim Hortons sign on Northwest Freeway. But inside, steam from freshly brewed coffee painted the air with warmth, and the aroma of glazed donuts hung like a sweet promise. It was like stepping into a Canadian wonderland, a welcome escape from the gloomy Houston Saturday. Excitement bubbled in my chest. This Tim Hortons was brand new, a beacon of maple goodness in our donut-deprived corner of the city. I'd been craving their signature hot original blend for weeks, that perfect balance of smooth and bold that warms you from the inside out. And let's not forget the donuts – those fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth circles of heaven, dusted with sugar and glazed to glistening perfection. The staff, as friendly as a Texas drawl, greeted me like a long-lost friend. They took my order with genuine smiles, their enthusiasm mirroring my own. As I waited, I couldn't help but admire the cheerful decor, the red and white pops of color, a stark contrast to the dreary weather outside. Finally, the magic arrived. A steaming cup of coffee, its dark depths promising warmth and comfort. The first sip was pure heaven – rich, complex, and smooth as silk. It chased away the chill of the rain and the grayness of the day. And then, the donut. A glazed masterpiece, light and airy, the sugar sparkling like tiny diamonds. Each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes, pure sugary bliss. With each sip and bite, the rain outside faded into background noise. Tim Hortons became my own little sunshine, a haven of Canadian hospitality and deliciousness. It was a reminder that even on the gloomiest days, a simple coffee and donut run could be an extraordinary experience. So, Tim Hortons on Northwest Freeway, you did more than just satisfy a craving. You brightened my day, warmed my soul, and reminded me that joy can be found in the smallest things, shared with the friendliest faces. Thank you for being the bright side of a cloudy Saturday. I'll definitely be back, rain or shine, for another dose of your magic. Keep it up, and I'll keep coming back for that taste of Canada in the heart of Houston.

Aww, man!!! I usually go to this location for breakfast after my night shift job. I never had a problem til this morning. I dont know if it was too early or something, but when i ordered a large chai latte like i always do. I pay. I get my english muffin, and the large chai latte has no problem, but i did notice the cup a little light. I didn't think anything of it i went home, and when i picked up the cup and it was lighter than before. Am like, "Wait a minute. What's going on here?" i look at the cup, no hole or spillage. i look in the cup, and it's half gone. Turns out that it had foam all the way to the top, and the large cup was filled with actual tea lmao . I laugh now, but i was pretty upset cause i was looking forward to drinking the tea. * its kinda hard to see in the picture. ... dont let me down Tim

UPDATE: Staff at this location are always so professional and friendly. Just look at this donut box that the staff put together for our most recent visit!! Great convenient location, great coffee and breakfast items and friendly service all in one place. Consistently great hot coffee, smooth and rich. Unique breakfast items and fun donuts that are delicious too. Try the Scrambled Egg Pastries, they are so different than any other restaurant offering. We have visited all the Houston area locations and this always comes up as our favorite. Julia is always smiling, friendly and professional. It is like being in a Tim Horton's commercial when you are helped by her. I just love seeing her friendly face when I come for my XL Timmy's.

Went in for first time. 3 ladies were working, but weren't paying much attention to people standing in line at the front register. I ended up ordering a sausage croissant & latte. As I stood there waiting, they put some items on the side counter, but never called an order number or anything so I didn't even know it was mine. When I looked in the bag they gave me a beef croissant. When I questioned it, they said that this location does not have sausage. I suggested that maybe they should tell people this when they say they want a sausage croissant or put up a sign or something on the menu board to notify customers. When I opened my latte, it was 1/2 full of foam, like cappuccino. I went to get some napkins, and the napkin holder was empty. After about a 25 minute ordeal and all these issues (no sausage croissants, foam filled latte, no napkins), I will NOT be back. Completely unimpressed. Went to do the survey mentioned on the screen when I paid and the paper receipt they gave me did not have the necessary code needed to complete the survey. Horrible start to my morning. Don't...

very disappointed, we visited this location on 11/24 around 6pm and it was a great experience but then we came back today since it is 5 mins down the street from work and it was just awful we ordered the creme bru-latte, a vanilla latte and a brown butter latte and first the shots were dead, the syrup wasn't mixed in all the way and the drinks were cold when we arrived to work ( and let me remind you that I work 5 mins down the street, there is no way the drinks got cold in that time span). I was disappointed so then I took the drinks back around 7:50am today and the shift I would assume remade the drinks, and still when I got to work the drinks still tasted awful. There was a weird tangy aftertaste from the espresso and this weird film of oil on two of the drinks. They just did not taste good and we had to throw them out. I wasn't about to go back for a third time in one day for the same issue. Very sad since we had such a great experience the first time and then to have this...
