This place has been a favorite for years ,the food is amazing, but the service today was not to the best. The waiter first stared to let us know about the drinks that they have , it fine until we told him we just wanted tea and water , he kept questioning us why ? Get this one! I inform him that I'm on a budget and that we are gonna stick with what we want , he was not happy about that, and immediately informed us that they where closing soon. Mind you they close at 8 pm , and it was 7 pm .Okay , so we ordered our food it was me and my daughters we ordered the same thing because we know what we like , once again he question why we ordered the same food , that we should try something different , very aggressively. I had to tell him , I appreciate your suggestion but we are going to get what we get ,the whole time we where eating it's was 3 man just staring, the one waiter kept walking by , with hands crossed , like hurry up .also saw people come and he refuse let them eat in , he said only to go orders .I'm sorry but that's just uncomfortable for us because we are eating but they're being told to go only . Service so pushy and aggressively it's not okay with me , we will be giving this place a break . We will miss the great food but it's not...

Entering Pho DaLat you walk directly into patrons enjoying huge bowls of pho and other Vietnamese fare. Its quite jarring and I'm sure that its a little unsettling for the customers as well. No one was greeted when they entered. I was a bit taken aback by that. I placed my order at the counter and paid. I still wasn't greeted. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. I went to to counter to get my order and was asked if I paid. He asked again. I answered yes both times, but that wasn't good enough. He took the time to locate the cashier to ask her before he would give me my order. Yes, it felt as though I was being racially profiled. The Vietnamese egg rolls were good, but the chow mein, while made-to-order with fresh veggies, lacked flavor. I expected more from a restaurant calling itself a pho and...

Under old management: LOVE this restaurant and would give 5 stars.

Under new management: Much, much to be desired.

To be straightforward and without embellishment, calling to place an order this past week was the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to place a food order.

I talked to two men, and it was clear that both of them were unfamiliar with the menu. After my best effort to place my order, I passed the phone to my Vietnamese friend, hoping they could work it out in Vietnamese.

Shockingly, no luck and no improvement. I could say much more, but want to allow some grace during a time of transition.

My advice: look up the menu before you call (only the images with a letter plus number for each item, like C1 / K1 / etc.), and don’t try to order anything besides through that method. Or, dine at a...

Did takeout for lunch as I was really craving soup and decided to give this place a try as it was down my block. Being a little snobby toward Viet soups I would say this was exactly what I needed! Order barely took anytime to come out which I take into account getting pho or bbh. BBH - they give a little extra chilly and shrimp paste in the takeout so I had high expectations already! The meat quantity could’ve been a little more imo but a good variety on the veggies maybe a little more red cabbage would’ve been nice. Also had two pieces of pig iykyk. But why I loved this place was the soup was just right. The amount of flavor was perfect to me I didn’t care I thought it wasn’t enough meat. Every sip healed a part of my soul. 8.8/10

I didn't like much at this restaurant. The waiter was rude, which made it awkward. The food wasn't great or good at that. I wouldn't go opening up a business based on this menu. Prices average around $10 per meal and are not worth a penny more. My friend enjoyed his soup. They have no kids menu here and my son had to eat some baked chicken. It wasn't crowded, which tells a lot. I wouldn't go back because I like food that tast good. I'm not big on Vietnamese food, so it could just be me.

Great experience! Food: The flavors were developed and pho broth was very tasty. The food came out hot and freshly made. Atmosphere: there are lots of tables and chairs so it felt like you could got a lot in the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean. Parking: lots of parking in front and the open lot for the rest of the retail stores. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.
