Tres Amigos Bakery — Restaurant in Houston

I went here tonight with my mother to order a sweet 16 birthday cake for my niece. The younger gentleman in the front was very professional and nice and was trying to help us but the other short Hispanic lady with the hat that was working with him was very rude. Every time we try to ask her a question she would walk away and answer but would not physically stand there and try to give us the information we needed and she acted like she did not care and she gave us the impression that we were getting on her nerves. After me and my mom finished designing the cake, we followed our gut and JUST TOLD THE NICE GENTLEMAN THAT WE WERE NO LONGER going to order the cake with tres amigos bakery and we just knew that this was not the place for us based on how we were treated and I will not be back again nor will my mother or any of my friends or family because I will let them know how rude this worker was to us. If you're not a social person, I suggest you stay in the back of the kitchen and not with the other people because her customer service was horrible and we ended up going to another bakery and ordered our cake and the service was excellent and we will definitely be back again.DO NOT...

I do not recommend this bakery! For my baby shower we ordered a cake, simple nothing complicated!. Just vanilla and chocolate cake. Let me tell you, the cake was extremely dry, one of the layers was like cardboard hard and flavorless.... no filling when i had asked if they atleast put frosting in between layers i was told yes. But nothing. The design or better said color of the cake's frosting was supposed to be pink! I got a blue cake!!! Like are you serious how hard is it to read a slip of paper. Not only that but i asked to correct the misrake i was told it was not possible since it was already decorated. The cake had been payed for the day before in full. $50 definately not worth that much!! Never...

My coworker has been telling me about this place how good their cakes are so I got to try their cake (white with whipped cream and fresh strawberry on top with caramel drizzle) for our birthday people for this month at work. Let me just say it was one the most delicious cakes I’ve ever had. My coworker was so right! The decoration was perfect as well not too much not too little and not too sweet as well. She said the price is also very reasonable unlike most bakeries these days where they charge $40~$50 bucks for a regular size cake.
