my recent visit to Wendy's at 7215 Fondren Rd in Houston demands it. My interaction was with a manager who displayed a level of unprofessionalism I've never before encountered in a fast food establishment.
Upon receiving my order, it became clear that there had been a mix-up. Mistakes happen, but the manager's reaction was shocking and unacceptable; she raised her voice at me. When respectfully confronted with the issue, I mentioned that I had a recording of my original order on my dashcam, and instead of addressing the matter calmly, her demeanor escalated.
To make matters worse, both the quality and temperature of the food were subpar. The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger that I eagerly awaited arrived cold, paired sadly with stale, hard bread. My nuggets, a usual go-to, were equally disappointing, evidently old and lacking any semblance of freshness or warmth — a trend that sadly continued with the French fries. They were not only tepid but also scant in quantity.
It's a fundamental expectation when dining out, especially at a well-established chain like Wendy's, to receive food that is made-to-order and served with at least basic courtesy. My experience was far from this minimal standard. It was a confluence of poor customer service capped by unappetizing, poorly prepared food.
I hope this feedback serves as a pivotal point for the staff at this location to reassess and improve both their service quality and food preparation standards. No customer should have to endure what I went through, nor receive the quality of food that I was presented with.
