Westwind Club — Restaurant in Houston

We filmed a television show there (* Southernights), Jim Settliff, Katrina Armstrong, and the film crew were Awesome. Motion Picture Productions was the film company that filmed the bar scene and Parking lot scene. Thanks Guys, We will be shooting again soon in Houston in 2017, But a different location, The scenes took three weeks to shoot inside, This was an old Police Show, Our filming was done in1997. Thanks again Crew, NOTE, We must not forget Karen for a superb job as the girl that OD in the car scene in the parking lot, And HPD for security and most of all Zarr, The club manager.

Great songs to dance to, it was our first time and we felt very welcomed by some of the staff and even some of the regulars from the moment we walked in. Be prepared to bring cash for cover charge or you can pay with credit card at the bar (additional $3 fee for credit card charges). There is also a charge for bottled water- not thrilled about that. We would really appreciate having water available, either by a drinking fountain or self serve pitchers. Really enjoyed our time, thank you for a lovely date...

Solid country bar that's been around since the 90's with live music on Saturday nights. This place is legit, with sawdust on the dance floor and all. Everyone here was super kind and welcoming, and the staff made us feel like family. Highly recommend planning your next 2 stepping date or line dancing night here, there's way more room to move and dance around than some of the other spots we've been to. Cheap drinks as well, with a really cool bartender. You can't beat...
