MY LIFE CAFE — Restaurant in Houston

Took my wife here for lunch during her work day. For a nearby joint it is good for a quick bite. They have a small menu of items that they can dish out quickly. For my lunch I tried their Pizza Panini. I feel they missed a great opportunity to call it a Pizzanini. Lol. Anyways, the panini has two layers of pepperoni, one on each slice of bread, and between the pepperoni is mozzarella cheese with pizza sauce seasoned with garlic. The sandwich came out hot and it tasted about what I had expected it to. The flavor was good, but I found it could use something more to stand out. My wife tried their Beef burger. The burger is pretty standard, when ordered off the menu. She got the meal with fries and a drink. The fries were crisp but not overcooked, which was great. The flavor of the fries was really good. They have fountain sodas with Stibborn sodas, and have an interesting option of their Lemonbeery Acai drink, which is very refreshing. The restaurant was very quiet during lunch time, which was good to get away from the noises of a busy day. For a quick bite if you're nearby, this is a good choice to check out. Maybe next time I'll get fancy with my oder to see what level of customization they can offer to...

Happened to be in the building and discovered this gem. Fresh food with a nice variety of choices. We had the chicken tenders/fries and the pizza panini. Chicken was moist and paired nicely with their special dipping sauce. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right. The pizza panini had plenty of meat, the panini bread was toasted just enough, and was tasty with the marinara sauce. The highlight of the meal was the cheesecake sopapilla bars. This restaurant is on the first floor of Manhattan Life building. The good was good. Freshly made omelette. Although the toast took longer to come out than the two omelets .

The cashier was nice and made sure from the chef that they have enough avocados for our omelette which were made to order.

Clean interior. Parking lot is small because there is an employee parking lot behind but I think a lot of vendors use the lot. So maybe only about 26 spots.
