Conchas Cafe Bakery — Restaurant in Humble

I just discovered this adorable little Mexican bakery coffee shop near my house, and I’m honestly in love! 🩵 Living in Humble, it’s been hard to find local coffee shops that I actually like, but this one definitely won me over.

My husband is Mexican so I’ve grown to love authentic pan dulce and pastries and this place has the perfect mix of a traditional Mexican bakery and a cozy coffee spot. It’s only five minutes from home, which makes it even better!

I tried their horchata latte and it tasted like real homemade horchata with the perfect coffee twist. The girl at the counter was super sweet and attentive , she even asked how I liked my coffee so she could make it just right. The pastries were fresh and delicious too.

I’ve been living in Humble for about 6 years and could not find a panaderia in the area. We would drive all the way to Arandas, but I came across this family owned bakery online this morning, January 4,2024. It’s about 5 minutes away from my house! It’s located in a decent location, they didn’t have a lot of variety, maybe about 8 different types of sweet bread, but it was my first time here. Also, according to the lady that took care of my order, they just opened less than half a year ago. This horchata latte was an absolute dream—sweet, spiced perfection in a cup. From the very first sip, I was hooked. And let’s talk about the service… just as warm and comforting as the drink itself. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with such genuine kindness, it felt less like visiting a café and more like long-lost-cousin energy.

Now for the real star: the churro filled with cajeta - I’m still thinking about it. Golden, crispy on the outside, and filled with that rich, caramel-y goodness, ah, it was straight-up heavenly.
