I could not wait until I got home and write this review! lets start with when I pulled up to the speaker to place my order, I was greeted by an automated order taker... I started thinking, okay this is cool! I placed my order... so far so good... I pulled up to the drive thru window and I was greeted by what I thought was a very pleasant young lady.. she read my order back to me && I reiterated PLEASE no sour cream on ANYTHING not even the box I ordered... she then looks at the screen and then speak over her headset to I guess the manager/cook to say I didn't want sour cream on ANYTHING... I then hear the person she was speaking to VERY LOUDLY say "tell her she can go around, that's why they ask you at the speaker do everything looks correct on the screen" Which I thought was absurd because to my knowledge he had to remake 1 beefy 5 layer burrito && why am I going around? there is literally no one behind me.. (I didn't mention that when I pulled up to the window the first time the young lady had me drive backwards to the speaker and the drive back up to the window... so I know this was a tactic used to cheat on their time of service ) but anyways, the guy is just rambling more telling the drive thru cashier to tell me things , he was very loud and very rude!! to which I responded that she didn't have to tell me anything, had not the young lady already slid my card, I would have drove off and he could have added my whole 30 dollar order to his waste honestly. I asked for his name... the drive thru employee told me that she was new and that she didn't know his name... I asked her if she could ask him to come to the window so that I could get his name... and I didn't get a response, after handing me the food, I asked one last time if I could get the name of the guy who was speaking, and the young lady told me that he could not come to the window, because he said he had something else to do! very disgusting customer service... over the remake of 1 beefy five layer burrito?? and when asked to be provided with a receipt , I was not given one. it was sad really, how can someone be in charge of serving people food with that type of attitude? just wanted to share my story though... even though I know nothing ever happens to people like him, he is going to go on to feed many more people in that establishment with that exact same attitude. He doesn't have to worry about me coming spending my hard earned dollar at that place ever again... Ill gladly leave my home in Humble and drive to the Taco Bell in Spring Tx where I know they pride themselves on how great their customer service is before I EVERRRR go back to this location... 1 star is being nice.......
Read moreWitnessed a very disturbing situation between a male customer & someone who I believe who is the manager.
It began when a male customer came in, asking about an order and food items they didn't receive. An employee assisted him and tried to resolve the situation, but the customer was a bit confused and just wanted the food they paid for. This is when, the female manager/employee stepped in and took over. She immediately came off very rude, told him she couldn't help and to "just contact Taco Bell". The customer (who is an older man), was more confused than before. But then, he mentioned that he remembered dealing with the Female Manager/Employee when he originally ordered his food. He began saying, "It was you" many times. The Female Manager started to raise her voice, and both of them started arguing. The situation got very aggressive, with both the male customer & female manager cussing & yelling at the top of their lungs. They started to threaten each other before some customers intervened and separated them.
I believe in this situation, the female manager came off aggressively from the very start. In fact, I've actually experienced something similar with this lady awhile back. There was one instance where I pulled up to the drive thru for my order, and this same lady was supposed to give my order. We gave the name for the order, and she said they didn't have it. For a second, I thought I placed it at the wrong location, but the app said it was correct. She still refused to give me the food, and basically told me to leave. Thankfully, another employee stepped in to help, and found the order for us immediately. It seems like that the Female Manager/Employee here is just itching for conflict. For context, she's an older Hispanic woman who's a bit taller than the rest, and has a thick accent. She's not nice at all from my past experiences. And with today's experience, just witnessed her cuss out and threaten a customer. Also for some reason she brought her kids to work ? So she's threatening people, and having her kids cry and run around the restaurant.....
Lastly, I Just want to mention, that the rest of the employees were all very professional and calm in this situation. They handled it well, even though the female manager/employee honestly escalated the...
Read moreUnfortunately my experience was not favorable. I don't really do fast food but I had no choice this time. I walked in instead of the drive-thru because I thought it would be quicker since there wasn't any wait inside. Once inside i am asked to please use the kiosk to order. I do so. Then 3 other customers come in and order as welll. Then about 15 minutes later and I still don't have my order nor any of the other walk-in customers. However over 10 orders on the drive-thru were taken care off. I ask one of the people with the headsets if they were only taking care if drive-thru orders because i have been waiting for a while, and she tells me she would check. She calls out my name to see if that was me and tells me my order is next. I told her, ok, however they have taken care of over 10 drive-thru orders and everyone inside is still waiting. She never apologized and totally missed the point. They were too busy focusing on the drive-thru and not the walk-in customers. If there isn't enough staff (I get that) just take orders on the drive-thru and close the front door. I prefer that over just seating there waiting longer than I should.
And to make things worse the drink I wanted was not working and at this point I didn't want to ask them to fix it. Also they had no straws so my son had to ask for them. And finally, I get home and I paid for steak upgrade on all my items and. One of them was not upgraded. Needless to say it was not a good experience. And it is unfair to the workers that you try to may a difficult situation work. If you are short staffed then do drive-thru only or get more staff to run...
