My family and I booked two rooms for 3 nights. All three nights the rooms my smaller siblings and I had two beds in the room. All 3 nights the beds were not straighten up. And the trash was NOT emptied. To make matters worse when my family and I arrived. The lady at the window gave us a room key that was the WRONG room key. The room was occupied with people.Thank God when my dad went to open the door the two people were not rude or aggressive. Let's be honest that could have ended badly.
Several times the keys to both rooms did not work. Talk about extremely annoying. Several things about this establishment was not good. The ice mechaine was out of order, the coffee maker didn't work and the refrigerator barely got cold and was not the most aesthetically pleasing. I took it upon myself to take pictures of the things I mentioned. Underneath one of the beds was a sock that didn't belong to my siblings and I. The bedding wasn't in the best shape. "Cigarettes" whole were in the bedding. The restroom had hair of another person(s). The deck area was very nasty and condensatation was extremely bad. This can be a major problem for anyone obviously but for elderly people and those of us who were born disabled or handicapped it's l twice as bad.
The only positives I can say was the location wasn't that bad, My parents said the beds were comfortable. I personally felt the beds were a bit too frim for my liking but overall not so bad. The AC and heater definitely worked. The microwave works and the plug outlets on the lamps were pretty convenient. The shower was awesome however I'm not a fan of how the water can literally run all the way to the toilet, that's a hazardous problem waiting to happen. The hair dryer in the room I was told by one of my siblings was very smokey. The however iron worked.
With all of this being said, one of my smaller brothers and I, met some very cool people from Turkey. They were very nice. I was very happy to meet people from another country with a pleasant attitude. Most people say, "You get what you pay for." And yes, I do agree I paided for what Days Inn Wyndham Humble should have offered according to their website. A hotel room should be cleaned properly. It shouldn't matter how much money you spend on a room (or rooms). If a customer or potential customer is going to pay you money for a business, the business should do its part and properly represent the company according to their website.
I'm very aware that motels and hotels tend to take pictures of the best-looking rooms in the establishment. To attract potential customers, thus making the people who are planning to stay think that the rooms will look very pleasing. When In fact, most hotel photos are likely not even from the hotel you're staying at, but from another hotel by the same company (possibly) in a different town or city with the best-looking room, etc.
I'm just trying to do my part and warn others who maybe interested to stay at this establishment. It would be wise to pick another hotel/motel if possible. Due to all the problems I had, I feel like a partial refund should be issued but I doubt that'll happen....
Read moreI called at 10:20 AM to confirm check in at 1PM with side by side rooms. I was told they’d be ready, 2 rooms beside each other. Arrived at 1:10, the rooms were not ready. The woman was not helpful, only saying to give them 45 minutes and our side by side rooms will be ready. We come back at 2:35, the rooms are just finished being ready, but are not beside each other. We get rooms 204 and 207. We go up to inspect the rooms. Room 204 has a dirty microwave, bathroom sink, tub, shower, a broken lampshade, a stained couch, stained pillowcase, and the office chair has dried baby vomit on it. Room 207 had a dirty microwave, sticky sink, dirty tub, shower, entire room needed to be swept, a lampshade had mold on it, the sprinkler was bent and rusted, and the smoke alarm was detached from ceiling and hanging from a wire. We went to the front office to complain, and the woman said she can switch out the lampshades and the chair. Due to Covid, and having a toddler in the room, I didn’t want anyone in my room, but the switches were accepted. The woman told us to “be happy for what we paid for”. She also said maintenance would be up the following day to fix the smoke alarm. Despite not wanting people in my room, I left the do not disturb sign off so that maintenance could come in the following day. Housekeeping came in, changed the trash and switched the towels, but none of the other issues were cleaned. Maintenance never came. The smoke alarm was still broken the day we left, with no further attempts to fix it. When I reached out to them after leaving I got told it “clearly wasn’t that bad since I stayed the 5 nights.” I was 950 miles from home and didn’t have the money to go anywhere else. Rude and unhelpful staff. The woman didn’t realize that my mom who came to check in with us, speaks fluent Spanish and is a translator, so everything she tried to say thinking we wouldn’t know, my mom...

I recently stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham Humble/Houston Intercontinental Airport and was pleasantly surprised by how convenient and comfortable it was for the price.
Location: The hotel is very close to George Bush Intercontinental Airport, which was perfect for my early morning flight. It's located in a quiet area but still close to restaurants and shopping, so you don’t feel isolated. If you’re just passing through or need an overnight stay before flying, it’s an ideal location.
Room Comfort & Cleanliness: The room was simple but clean, and the bed was pretty comfortable. I found it to be exactly what I needed for a short stay — no frills, but it got the job done. It had all the essentials like free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge, which made it easy to settle in after traveling
Staff & Service: The staff were friendly and helpful during check-in. They answered my questions about transportation options to the airport and made the whole process pretty seamless. There were no issues during my stay, and I felt the service was reliable
Amenities: The breakfast was basic but appreciated. It included some pastries, fruit, cereal, and coffee, which helped me get my day started. There’s also a small fitness center, though I didn’t get the chance to use it
Overall Value: For the price, this hotel offers good value. It's not a luxury stay, but it's clean, comfortable, and perfectly located if you need to be near the airport. I'd definitely stay here again if I need something convenient...
