Taquerias Arandas — Restaurant in Humble

Usually I love this place but this visit was a little bit different than usual there were about 20 of us. When it came time to split up the check the way just got overwhelmed and just said do you want to just come to the counter and we'll split it up there? We were fine with that so everyone who is paying for their party went one by one and told the waitress what they purchased what they ate and drank and I was the last one to pay. So once I paid for me and my children and my brother and I was very honest about everything we ordered, the manager comes and says that there is still 50 something dollars unaccounted for and he lists off to me what wasn't paid for... I ordered none of what he listed. So, I didn't know what to do I told him it is not my fault that this wasn't taken care of from the beginning that the waitress didn't keep up with a split up checks because we told her from the beginning that they were going to be split up and she's the one that decided to have them be split up at the register at the last minute. I heard her tell him in Spanish, I'm assuming they didn't think I spoke Spanish, that we insisted that we split the check at the counter and not at the table. I literally had to translate what she said to my cousin about going to the counter instead of splitting it right there at the table because my cousin doesn't speak Spanish very well. And when I heard her respond to her manager because he did get on to her by saying this is why you need to split everything at the table and keep up with it, of course her response was they insisted. I told him I'm not paying for something that I didn't order or eat or drink and y'all need to fix your system. I left there pretty angry and we all tipped our waitress she did keep up with a 20 + person crowd and she was good but at this place they do take out the gratuity and you can add more if you want to and I had already paid my check and I added like 7 more dollars even though my check was only maybe $45 and they had taken out I don't know 8 dollars so with the extra 7 my waitress still got a good tip for me plus everybody else in my party it was the management that didn't keep up with whatever system they use on how to break up a parties like that. I'm not saying I Won't Go Back I just didn't appreciate the whole mix up and I had to walk out, I was this close to just paying it and getting it over with but at the last second I figured, wait, this isn't my fault and I don't owe this money and if everyone was still there at that moment I would have called everybody back in and said hey who bought this who got that and taking care of it but I was the last person there and so he cussed at me and I walked out but I walked out paying...

IF YOUR BLACK PLEASE DON’T EAT HERE!!!! My husband and I came to eat here . We order approximately 45.00 worth Theof food. The food was decent I’ve had better. I was just getting off work after a long day and wanted some home cooked food a As card 2 times whic didn’t go through immediately got on the phone with bank . As we know their money in our account . Fraud dept thought it was fraudulent because we never used this card there. Manager came to the table to let us know that card didn’t go through. Told him what was going on and immediately called the bank back. After waiting I observed our waitress telling other waiters everyone was looking at us as if we couldn’t pay for our food. I was so embarrassed at this point ready to get out of there. As I called the bank back and literally frustrated with the whole situation as we are getting this lock lifted off account 10 minutes of being on the ohone with the bank. A police officer shows up at our table . Saying that they told her we was having issues with paying. As , I’m still on phone with the bank the fraud department unlocked the card and we was able to pay. I have the sign receipt to the manager at the cashier register man never acknowledged me not one time , or even apologized about the situation. I will NEVER eat at this establishment...

Well this isn't my 1st time going here. The food is usually good (I only order certain things)I do like the tortas, the burritos, tortillas and alambres. I also like their breakfast tacos. Not my favorite place for Mexican food but it isn't bad. Give them a try n see if it's for you. I ordered the tortas this time and they were real good. I liked the bread but what I really liked is they offer fried beef milanesa for tortas. Not too many places offer this meat for tortas, that is my favorite and reason I go there mostly. They service is where I had the issue. I called ahead when I arrived they had issues finding my ticket. They had my food but no ticket so I waited like an extra 5-10 mins till someone helped the lady figure out how to get the ticket for my food. When I walked in the lady was arguing with the guy about who was to serve the next table that was waiting for a server. Then when she needed help finding my ticket he refused to help her. It was ridiculous that they did this with me standing in front of them. Needless to say my food was cold when I got to sit down and eat. Service is hit and miss at this location, another reason this is not my 1st choice. No...
